The Flash - Official Trailer #2

I appreciate the classic Batwing getting more screentime. It was always a beautiful design.

If they get the same writers for the sequel, maybe we'll get an Empire Strikes Back. I'd love to see a sequel that raises the stakes, and ends on a cliffhanger where it seems our heroes have simply lost.

D&D Movie/TV D&D: Honor Among Thieves Open Discussion [Full Spoilers]

They already foreshadowed it with the flashback to the dragonfly. So I saw it coming, and yet I was very happy they did exactly that. Because then I realized the movie had already been setting up this event right from the start. We see Holga and Kira be very close constantly, so their family...

D&D Movie/TV D&D: Honor Among Thieves Open Discussion [Full Spoilers]

Since they never made the final episode of the cartoon, where the characters return home... and they are adults in their movie cameo... does this mean they've been trapped in the world of D&D since the 80s?

And because they look really out of place.

    Mando season 3

Honestly, Jack Black, Lizzo and Christopher Lloyd were all jarring as hell. I appreciated seeing some prequel droids. But Bo's duel at the end was very weak. It kind of makes Mandalorians look like they're not very dangerous warriors at all. That said, I honestly find Bo Katan miles more...

    Super Mario Bros. movie

It's still plenty of fun. You're just not watching a Toystory or Up. But how deep does a Mario Bros movie really need to be?

    Super Mario Bros. movie

I just saw the Super Mario Bros Movie, and I thought it was pretty good. The critics are way too harsh on this one. Yes, the plot is paper thin, and it is basically all fan service, but then again that is exactly what you expect and hope to see. The movie is clearly intended for a young...

    D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie Hit or Flop?

The problem is, I don't think you're being objective. You've been told that your metric is wrong, and you flat out ignore it. It seems that accepting that the opposite might be true; that the movie is actually doing really well, is something you are unwilling to do, regardless of statistics.

In contrast, my cinema had it up in their number one biggest theater, and it was a great experience. Even got me and my girl the fancy deluxe seats. It has been a while since I've had this much fun at the cinema.

    D&D 5E (2014) What Don't You Like About Dungeons?

I do like exploring rooms, finding traps, treasures and monsters. But what I don't like, it when the dungeon is an endless series of empty rooms/tunnels. Then it becomes a slog.

    D&D 5E (2014) What Don't You Like About Dungeons?

Mazes. I hate it when a dungeon is a maze. Mazes are fun in real life and sometimes in videogames. But they don't translate well to a tabletop RPG in my experience.

I'm glad it's doing well, because I want sequels to this.

    D&D Movie/TV Rate the D&D movie

I gave it a 10. It had everything I wanted out of a D&D movie and it surpassed my expectations. I loved the story, the characters, the cast, the dialog, the humor, the villains, the special effects. It was set in Faerun and namedropped plenty of well known locations, as well as feature plenty of...

I'm reading Elvira's biography. My friend, who gifted it to me, even had it signed for me.

D&D General Dice Fudging and Twist Endings

To be clear, this is what I did. I straight up tell my players: this is what the stakes are, do you want to go through with it? The barmaid is grappled and helpless. With a knife at her throat, it is basically a coup-de-grace for the undead pirate. The players can try to do anything they want...
