Now to avoid the side eye my wife gives me as I back yet another project. lol. I've been particularly bad during the last 12 or so months backing rpgs left and right at the max level.
Good to know, I thought that they were something related to game mechanics like how Savage Worlds, TORG etc do it. I'm not a fan of specialty dice or specialty cards. If they're reference cards that's great and I'm all for it. Handy reference cards are a good thing. Terming them "decks" made me...
It does now Talien. :) Which is what Robus was commenting on from the post above yours. When it was first posted we were seeing the layout as your write up and at the bottom of the article was a 4 attached/downloadable files. :) This happens off and on which is what as I said Robus and I were...
Yup, you'll see that from time to time. :/ It's a little annoying, but I write it off to the fact that not a professionally maintained site. Sort of like you have to get over the fact that they're running an insecure website as well. It makes me sigh but I like what they put out enough that I...
I like Mackie and Kinnaman as well. I don't have an issue with the change though since sleeves/bodies are just that and easily replaced as needed. Have you read the book trilogy btw? If you have you'll see how is how it pretty much works.
I hope they stick to the books more than the Netflix series. While I enjoyed the series on Netflix, it was a shadow of what the books were and did a disservice to books. Simplifying and making stupid choices in my opinion. Anyone know anything about how the game mechanics might go in regards to...
This, exactly this. I'd been debating with myself for a few days on posting something like this. Thank you for doing so.
p.s: I also hit the wrong button and meant to give exp for the post. Ah well.
Hehe. Still waiting to get my physical copies of Judge Dredd! Though I've been enjoying reading through my pdfs, I'm a bigger fan of physical copies so I can't wait to get the darn things. Tempted to snag War of the Burning Sky books now though. Nice sale. :)
Big fan of the Kobold Press stuff and have backed some of their Kickstarter's. Christina Styles I've had bad luck with backing one of her Kickstarters. I think that Dan will be a good addition to WotC's crew of creators.
Definitely worth snagging. I've been wondering for some time how to go about doing just this. They're gonna take a lot of the work out of it for me. Kudos to them for doing this.
It's because you posted more than once in the thread, pointing out not liking it and pointing out the RAW. It's the only reason I posted to you, you were coming off like one of those "If it's not by the rules as written sorts then it's wrong.
Which is entirely your choice within the game that you run. Personally I enjoy critical hits and failures and that's how it's played at my place. No matter how many times you quote the rules.
In my opinion the game seems very high on production value and art work, less clear is the actual substance of the game mechanics, world etc. For the price point I just can't embrace it. The reviewer did nothing to elevate that opinion. :/
