So do u need to make a spell to create Holy Water? I don't think so. Same for a Holy Symbol. Why r people trying to complicate a game further than it needs to be?

In other words, it's like having to use a spell to make Holy Water. It isn't needed. Just a normal ritual for any Cleric would suffice for a Holy Symbol.

I understand that, but why make it into a Spell? Just like Death's Door Spell. It should just be a normal homebrew ritual not a spell. I would never require it to be a spell as a DM.

I highly doubt anything u said about Encumbrance being about what u carry around. It is about combat adjustments and always has been when it is used. Otherwise Encumbrance would not be a thing at all.
