Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

$5.59 is a good deal, very doable as a business model. After around 5,000 copies the prices dropped, with further break points, and ordering from companies such as print ninja, were also substantially cheaper. Even then that is only printing costs, production, art, editing is a decent amount...

Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

You are exactly correct. One could make it back, though ultimately the margin is too thin, and RPG's don't usually sell a thousand books easily, except the top few percent.

There are exceptions to the rule, though I have noticed that it is usually the same people that make the really long posts, and it has only become worse when I have noticed people using AI. Reddit is almost becoming hell for that. Sometimes one finds a real gem of a post here in the internet...

Best toolbox RPG to start with?

I can't say which system for sure, though something narrative, imo. Neither really fit the "zero to hero" level grind of a lot of games. Maybe something more like Ironsworn, or a Powered by the Apocalypse, though I might be leery of adding moves. I might go with a Basic Role Playing variant...

I just quote the whole thing a lot of time, though with the way the quote feature truncates posts, sometimes only what I think will show in the window so it is easier for people to see what I am replying to. It is a given that it is all meaningless, just a way to pass time, most don't read...

I try to use a regular letter format, partially due to work, such as when one has to provide documentation for communication. I know in the old days, it sometimes was considered a way of trolling, it is difficult to reply to, and often winds up confusing. Also yeah, the longer a post, the less...
