D&D Releases Playtest for Updated Artificer

No one does. There are plenty of AI that can trick you into think they’ve done a good job without some external review, but none that are actually good at anything remotely involving judgement.

Nope, it’s just cynicism. Reality is closer to they know that if red overwhelms the responses they have to completely redo or drop that option, and the why will mostly align with the feedback they see elsewhere. Same thing with green. It the response is majority green, the tweaks will either...

    Official Superman Poster

Teaser after teaser for what? It’s Superman. People are gonna watch the trailer. Gunn has given us no reason to expect a good Superman, but he does seem to understand characters much better than Snyder does, so it should be better than the Snyder films.

D&D Releases Playtest for Updated Artificer

Spell storing item needs to be lower level, even if that means restricting it. It’s way too definitive to wait until level 11. - ditch spell slots from magic items and bring this way down instead. Early levels can allow for only level 1 spells, and then scale up. Magical tinkering should...

D&D Releases Playtest for Updated Artificer

Anyone else feel like it just lacks the pizzazz of the core class rebuilds? And like…maybe I just need to watch video and sit with the pdf longer, but what is it even benefiting from in the new design?

Also if you can get the stats sorted, it’s fun on a monk, with deflect attacks. Any form of damage negation is a good combo. Also, it’s turned some tough fights into doable without dropping for me, playing warlocks.

GMs: Do you have a "Before" race for your setting?

islands World- gnomes. The world isn’t really a “the past was better” setting, but the gnomes built many great things back when other folks were still in their infancy. Most of the oldest things in the world are Gnomish. Space Fantasy- Shadar-Kai/vryloka. They were the first humanoids to go...

D&D General D&D 2024 does not deserve to succeed

The new core books seem to me to be the best version of D&D so far. The books are certainly the best core books in terms of aesthetics and practical table use. While I believe that publically traded corporations shouldn’t even be allowed to exist at all, I’m not following you on this outside...
