Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

If I understand the order of operations correctly... Tonk attacks with Disheartening Strike. (Standard action.) Tonk moves towards the mace, engaging stealth. (Move action.) Tonk picks up the mace. (Minor action.)

Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

So grabbing the mace and attacking are mutually exclusive actions? If so, he'll attack as previously written (and miss), then hide. Next round, is he able to use Deft Strike to leave cover, move near the mace head, spend a minor action to grab the mace head after attacking, and finally use a...

    LEB Discussion Thread '09

I think the easiest approach would be that he's a guy from another plane of existence that got dumped into Eberron, so it's okay that he knows jack squat...and he's extremely angry that he's there...and pretty much hates everybody and everything as a result.

Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

That's cool. I'm down with that. *blink* I did not know that was possible. If I can do that and get sneak attacks...

Okay. I'll put one together. (Though I know Jack about Eberron.)

Any need for a defender over in these parts?

Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

Tonk snarls. And stops smiling. He hurls a shuriken at the elemental. (Standard Action: Disheartening Strike - Miss!) The half-orc moves into the cover of the tree and hides. (Move Action: to M16, Stealth Check = 21) Is the rain and lighting sufficient concealment to allow Tonk to sneak in...

Nope. I'm just sick of rolling 1's!

The Closed Eye, part II (DM: covaithe, Judge: garyh)

That's good enough for me! (Though I have the feeling that Dunamin wrote his post at roughly the same time I wrote mine...) "Kyaaaaah!" screams Hacker, twanging his banjo, "KILL! KILL! KILL!" SURPRISE ATTACK! Standard Action: Blunder v. Will (1d20+6=25, 1d6+5=6) -- Slide the fake...

That's it! I'm done with Invisible Castle! How do I link to specific roll results at the Dice Room?

TURTLEDOME! (Battle Bone!) -- Part 2

"EMRAL!" shouts THE COAT! and all the bobble-skulls. Except for the Finnian bobble-skull which shouts, "Errol!" The imp knows little about TURTLEDOME! but turns out to be quite knowledgeable about pottery. Disturbingly knowledgeable. If not outright fanatic about the subject... It even...

The Closed Eye, part II (DM: covaithe, Judge: garyh)

"Well, howdy-*****-doo to you, too, pardner. If that gawds-***** goblin happened to be YOUR gawds-***** goblin, then if you're so ***** glad that he didn't in-*****-convenience us, why didn't you ***** stop him?" Hacker lights a cigarette. "Tell you what, while you compose your ***** answer...

Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

Sorry. You are correct. I'm frustrated. Not going to happen. Tonk can't inflict that much damage anymore. He has to have combat advantage to get his damage bonus. Since he's using ranged attacks, he's not going to get any flanking benefits, so no combat advantage, so no additional damage...

Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

Oh, goody! Tonk starts the battle within the creature's reach! Thanks, Joe! And in case you're not sure, that's sarcasm. Bitter, rueful sarcasm. Tonk takes a step away from the creature. (Move: Shift to O16) He takes careful aim with a shuriken and lets fly... (Minor Action: Hunter's Quarry...

The Closed Eye, part II (DM: covaithe, Judge: garyh)

I think Atreus being mauled to death (slowly) by some horrible undead creatures on his way to town, while our part of the party stumbles over an unguarded Vast Hoard of Treasure, would be a nice twist. What do you guys think?

TURTLEDOME! (Battle Bone!) -- Part 2

Hold out your left hand, palm downward, dangle two fingers, and make them walk like legs. Then, hold out your right hand and do the same thing. Then, put the two hands side-by-side. TAA-DAAA! As Finnian joins Emral, THE COAT! flashes a bright red warning light. "Hey, you! Yeah, you, brothah!"...

TURTLEDOME! (Battle Bone!) -- Part 2

The imp slaps itself on the forehead and heaves a frustrated sigh. It rushes forward and bites Drivan on the ankle. The imp then speaks. Its voice is high-pitched, squeaky, and gibberish, but to Drivan's ears, it sounds like the cultured voice of a man speaking in rich, round tones... Anthony...

TURTLEDOME! (Battle Bone!) -- Part 2

The imp shakes its head. It points at itself and points at Drivan. Then, it pantomimes two people walking together.

TURTLEDOME! (Battle Bone!) -- Part 2

The imp nods. It points at Drivan, then itself, then Drivan again. It holds its hands together, as if making a chain. And I forgot to answer the question: Yes, any arcane caster can use a lens to turn a spell's type into radiant energy.
