    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Wouldn't need to. Just make use of what there is and instead of the variant human make it more regional in nature maybe use that bonus feat to have them be Magic Initiates of some sort. And as for the routine npcs redesign them for 1st to 3rd instead of 9th as that's how it should have been. I...

    Falcon and winter solider

And they haven't introduced the Mutants yet! So lets assume Magneto hails from Yugoslavia prior to its collapse in 1995 and make it more about that period instead?

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Maybe start it off away from the most famous city perhaps that starting adventure at Saltmarsh which leads to the party becoming famous for foiling a smuggling ring. Eventually invited to Greyhawk this place of extraordinary reputation, a place of heroes but when they visit they inevitably...

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Good point, how do you bring that into a campaign without making it ridiculous? Like Visionaries where they recovered magical items that was used to restore the pool of magical energy their items depended upon as well as the wizard who recruited them?

That might be more due to the experimentation on him as they try to reverse engineer the super soldier serum he received.

    Falcon and winter solider

In the comics he was drained of his super soldier serum and that was what caused the aging. I think restoring some to him restored his youth. I know there was a series where he discovered he was basically "juiced" up and after a brief time corrupted by a drug overdose he went through withdrawal...

And returning those infinity stones apparently required Steve to come to grips with his situation leading to him getting on with his life until he decided to return when he did. So I'd agree about him returning in an advisory role, now if some event causes him to regain his youth though...

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Given the Ghosts of Saltmarsh was released will they release a setting book like they did for Eberron or the Sword Coast Guide instead?

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Which setting books would you suggest to pick up to get a good handle on the setting? The boxed set for 1e perhaps 2e how would you rate the 3e version?

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Hmm interesting. So maybe Clerics & Druids must abide by an oath or a series of obligations that not only grants them their power, but also reins them in in case they fall. For example a game I played in I was asked to convert a Ranger into a Cleric as the other players were running two wizards...

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

How do you handle the power growth? I ran a game and still feel like I wasn't handling it properly so I'm interested to learn how you handled that!

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Been wondering about that. Have been tinkering with an idea that for example the elves are more at home in the Feywild so those areas in the setting where they're located are more outposts for them to keep an eye on whats going on as there are some threats to the Feywild that originate in...

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Would this work better if the magic was being hoarded thus no magic shops and what little they can find is either used or ends up being bought by the very people hoarding the stuff to insure the local populace never develops the means to topple those in charge? You could have Mage Guilds...

    D&D 5E (2014) Greyhawk: Pitching the Reboot

Pick an area and work from there. I suspect many might use the Village of Hommlet and work up to the Temple of Elemental Evil. Are there any other games that stick out as far as Greyhawk are concerned? Except for Blackmoor perhaps?

    D&D 5E (2014) Brainstorming voltron-like concept

Hmm how do they find these Golems? Do they like the series stumble across one and one of them figures out how to activate it? Maybe the area is attacked and they're forced to flee aboard their airborne Golem whose onboard warforged sentience locks onto the nearest safest place heading to whats...

It needs to make sense for example Nando the one who does the reimagining film and tv series has come up with one for Wandavision where instead of Agatha being one of the villains is actually trying to help Wanda back from her breakdown. There are only 6 episodes on this series isn't there? If...

D&D 5E (2014) What Single Thing Would You Eliminate

I'd eliminate Immunity to damage at low levels so for example were rats are resistant ONLY rather than immune to normal damage. I'd also make Skeletons resistance to all bar blunt weapons from normal forms of damage, but that's another story entirely.
