Hi, I don't konw if this has already been shared here (my shearches didn't find any ref...). This is a project of a really visionaire italian fellow:
https://www.laconteagentile.it/
Despite it is in italian, it deserves a glance at it!
For a bit of flavour, "la contea gentile" is "the gentle...
Thanks! Just as a confirmation: if the last post/article of a specific column has been written, say, 3 years ago i still find it in the main page scrolling (a lot) down, is it correct?
Hello, maybe i missed this info in the guidelines, but i do not see any board/subforum dedicated to trades. There is one for gamers/groups/DMs and, by convention, i was thinking to find also a similar one for books/minis... Am i right that there is not any board for such a topic?
That sounds reasonable... But this doesn't work for stats, initiative, progression and any further rule you have in your book... Or, better: artworks can always be added, the point is that if there is no reason if not the habit of the industry, it does seems a faint explanation to my eyes...
Well this is a crucial point: my questions, beyond the reasons are focusing at this aspect. I have a game i'd like to publish, i asked in another post here the potential impact of costs different than those related to the contents... The reply made me think if there is a strict rationale or an...
All these options are possible, no issue on that... I still wonder whether or not the WotC guys of thr marketing dept have other ideas to present for that important event...
These aspects cover a part of the mechanics for such a game setting... The most difficult part is the presence in the real world of the gods and their actions on the mortals.
I know nothing about Agon but i know pretty well the homeric setting... It is really hard to use a character in such a setting without any "externality" coming from a god... It might be worth thinking to have an homeric game where the characters are lesser gods or demigods, the game could be...
If i may ask, could you pls point me out why NTF are to be handled with care? I miss it and i will possibily be in need of freelance artists in the next future... If there is a pit to avoid, i would really love to know about it so not to find myself in the pit!
It i may amend these points, i'd rather put them in a different order (assuming them from the most important down):
1. Deities with a deep and strong background (founded over centuries of myths) fighting among factions
2. Immanent deities (namely, one of the battlegrounds of their fight is the...
My 2c on the topic of religion in a setting: all the original questions are ok, however these should be posted once the "creator" of the setting has made up the "baseline" for the religion. This means to define beliefs and faiths consistent with the setting itself. Once the "creator" has done...
This seems to be extremely interesting! I was wondering whether or not someone used a "graphic novel" hybrid model! I don't know this game but for sure i will have a look at it... It could be extremely effective!
Please accept my apologies, no offense intended in any way!
I wanted to say (obviously in an improper way) that a visual aid is close to infographics rather than to a drawing: something close to the instructions you find in a plane... That it is a visual aid of what to do in case of problems...
I agree over this line, at all. Still I have have doubts in a situation where i need to use art in a chapter where it is explained how PCs get experience and how level-up works. Do a reader (and for a reader i mean someone interested in understanding what is the game mechanics for progression)...
Re to the discussion whether a drawing is good or not... This is a product of art! Someone may like a drawing, others don't... That is the ultimate purpose of the art: let people have an opinion generated by their own perception and discuss about it and defend thier point!
Thanks for this interesting point. Let me say that i have a problem with this explanation: in this case we are talking about "visual aids", not necessarly artwork... These could be closer to infographics than pieces of art.
Let's assume that rpg market has a similar situation, where...
