    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Mysteries of the Multiverse Reveal

Can't wait to see how horribly butchered 5e Planescape is gonna be, so I can show the newbs to the game the REAL Planescape by shoving 2E books and boxed sets in their digital arms.

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D's Upcoming Digital Tabletop

Oh jeez, here we go. Losing D&D more and more. Hate what it's become within almost the past 2 decades. Last of it died out in 2008

WotC D&D Direct—Video Event From WotC Coming Next Week

If it's not We're supporting creators who want to write content for any edition of D&D in the DMs Guild. then I don't care.

Planescape 5 New D&D Books Coming in 2023 -- Including Planescape!

Surprised there's nothing on this and it's middle of March already.

    WotC WotC D&D Community Update

"Review Previous Editions for Inclusion in Creative Commons" is absolutely the only thing I care about in anything they're doing.

D&D 5E (2014) Honor Among Thieves Character Stats

It doesn't because these "sheets" aren't really character sheets, they're monster stat blocks so anything goes. Except for magic, cause caster type monsters are nerfed heavily in 5e now no thanks to that Mordenkainen Multiverse books

D&D 5E (2014) Honor Among Thieves Character Stats

It's cause they're using the enforced "monster caster" stat blocks WotC recently pushed on everyone instead of the original "caster level and spell slot" one that's WAY more DM friendly.

D&D 5E (2014) Honor Among Thieves Character Stats

These aren't "character sheets", these are the stupid 5e monster stats (sorry, 3e had it correct having PCs and monsters use mostly similar rules) for these characters. Along with that insane "monster caster stat block" they're pushing on DMs. The casters should have caster level and spell slots...

Starfinder Paizo Announces The New STARFINDER ENHANCED!

Better than a new edition, that's for sure. Sure wish they could publish a new PF1e book that's like 400 pages because they converted many of the PF2e stuff to 1e for us loyal PF1e customers. I f----in' hate edition cycles. If I ever got Bill Gates money, I'd buy these companies and make sure...

D&D 5E (2024) New One D&D Playtest Shows Us The New Druid & Paladin

How is this "backwards compatible"? This is basically D&D 5.5e, everyone is going to be forced to use this or be left behind in products. Heck at this rate it's almost a whole new edition with their changes. Typical.

D&D 5E (2014) WotC: Why Dark Sun Hasn't Been Revived

In other words: "Can't have real villainy, or real evil things, gotta make things as Scooby-Doo as possible. People can't just accept bad and evil things in a fantasy world. We considered making it so that Devils do mean pranks, like glue on your character's saddle, and demons do destructive...

    Converting Planescape monsters

This sounds right, better to be a template I think. Be pretty cool also. The Formians did something similar and they had a template for this in one of the Dungeon Magazines I believe.

Ginny Di interviews WotC's Kyle Brink

Is Kyle doing interviews with everyone or something? WotC really be trying. I would like to interview him, maybe convince him to push for the DMsGuild to allow creators to publish content for ALL editions using their IP material and not them gatekeeping it to 5th Edition (I want my Complete...

D&D 5E (2024) RPG Evolution: What is the Reach of an 800 lb. Gorilla?

I miss TSR and early WotC D&D days is all I'm getting out of this. Game should have never gotten too popular. Look at the results. A mere shell of lore, game material, and setting material of what it used to have. Oh if only the days of boxed sets and poster maps would return. And adventure...

D&D General WotC Reveals New Information and Covers for 'Keys from the Golden Vault'

Yay. More adventure books. 5e product line is so slow and so lame.

D&D 5E (2024) RPG Evolution: The Fox in the Henhouse

This explains the sudden abandonment of 3e for that horrendous 4e along with all the free content (because early WotC still cared about the community) on the website during that time coming to a halt. I've said it before, and I'll say it over and over: I miss TSR.

WotC Talks OGL... Again! Draft Coming Jan 20th With Feedback Survey; v1 De-Auth Still On

1.0a still not allowed to be used going forward means they continue to get nothing from me along with bad press as I will keep reminding others to not get into D&D anymore. Can't wait to bomb the hell out of their survey. Here's to hoping they run this game into the ground, the shareholders...

So WHY Didn't The OGL Contain The Word 'Irrevocable'?

Problem is we live in a society where your money is what decides a case. Even if 3pp win the case, they'll be so broke from all the fees, they end up shutting down anyway. Unless every single major company teams their lawyers up to fight this. Heck, Paizo already stated they could fight this and...

So WHY Didn't The OGL Contain The Word 'Irrevocable'?

That opens up a huge can of worms, though, for every court case in the country then. For someone to say,"Well, this word no longer means this legally even though it did 20 years ago" will set a very, very terrible precedent on all court cases. This is why "grandfather clauses" exist, to prevent...
