At this point, even if the OGL1.0a stays and isn't revoked, the damage is already done by just looking at what the fear of it alone ha caused all these companies to do. Either way, this leak ruined the entire community.

But I like 3.5e and its derivatives...guess those are gonna be gone forever huh? No more what little support is left to get for PF1e and support for 3.5e is all gone. I hate the TTRPG companies. One day...if I ever hit that billion dollar lotto...I'm bringing back 3.5e and find a way to buy...

I'm pretty sure those people can easily find jobs in the non-D&D market, especially since those publishers will absolutely need more workers when they receive the massive influx of customers ditching Wizbro and giving their wallets to these other publishers instead.

Pretty sure if it were taken to court, a judge would rule against WotC due to the fact that every single company had every right to believe under the pretense that WotC couldn't revoke it. Intent matters.

Ugh. D&D has had such better quality and much more quantity than before it got popular. Miss the good ol' days.

Miss the days when it wasn't so popular, we had awesome products and editions like 1e and advancing to 2e and 3e. Then everything went to crap with 4e and 5e. Forever gone are those days. Sure wish I can wake up one day and see a new 3.5e book for sale, but I'm living in the wrong reality...

That's because WotC produces almost next to nothing while letting the DMs Guild make everything. At this rate, what's the point of buying anything from WotC directly? I'll just get the DMs Guild content.

This is such super old news. Like, it got to the point where anyone knowledgeable enough in D&D lore already accepted it as a proven theory that they are one and the same anyway. Even if WotC stated otherwise, many of us would continue to regard the two as the same being anyway, official or not...

We should have stayed back in 3.5e, when the books they released actually had a good amount of fluff and crunch AND we still had Dragon/Dungeon Magazines as supplements. Nowadays...Zero Calorie D&D is proving to be what I always knew it would be...110% Hype and 1% Substance.
