Nice to start seeing confirmation of archetypes and little previews of the book. Shame on Mr. Mearls for using PDFs though. No legal PDF copies of the books exist! :-P

Paradigm Concept's Arcanis setting also went the warlocks = shamans route. Their free Primer reflavors fey pact as nature/spirits, while their Forged in Magic book offers a new shaman-esque subclass and their upcoming full setting book will have a number of options, I believe.

Anecdotal from me rather than a statistic, but I play a lot of PBP games online and have run, applied to, or just watched a lot of game recruitments/startups. Not once have I seen someone make a banneret.
