I came here expecting a spell that made all arcane union members stop working and demanding more "nice things". IR dissapoint.
On a more serious note: See Shillelagh for an implementation of what you want.
Just go ahead and drop inspiration. The mechanic adds nothing to the game. Most online groups I play in just straight up forgets the mechanic exists after a session or two of trying to get this plastered on mechanic to stick.
And you obviously do not want this. You go so far as using degradory terminology to describe us fans of 4e. You make me sad. I wish our community could be better than this hateful morrass.
Doesnt work on a rogue due to this wording in suggestion: "The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. "
Ensuring that contrivances happens would be anathema to my style of gaming and DMing. The entire charm of roleplaying (imho ofc) lies in player driven actions and the table conversation of player action <-> DM reaction. Thus the very concept of contrievances goes out the window for me and my group.
Based on statements made above I think you should look into Runequest 6, recently relaunched under the new name Mythras. Might be a good fit for your playstyle.
Errr. No? That is absolutely not what the ability says. "You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by natural foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, or other similar conditions." It is absolutely 100% clear that it indicates the act of _becoming_ hidden not _staying_ hidden.
Bleh. As an avid druid player I am thoroughly unimpressed. Circle of Dreams is okisch, but I don't really see why I would take this over Circle of the Land like ever. The rest is so bleak it could just as well never have been written.
It seems that purposefully ambigious rules on stealth are serving their purpose: Every DM feels justified in running stealth just like tjey always did!
