Dark Sun - The Burnt World of Athas (5e Conversion)

There are no half-ogres on Athas, nor are there kobolds, orcs, wemics, gnomes or hobgoblins. Well, none alive :) I have approached the mechanics - many of the races (dray, elf, mul, ssurran, half giant and thri-kreen, and probably the genasi and goliath) all have features concerning the...

The Eneko - Races of Eberron

Here are the eneko, from the Eberron Campaign setting. I always liked this race, and it was a shame they didn't get more attention in the setting. Here are Psionics, if you choose the talent instead of the cantrip.

    Psychic Warrior

Thanks. There are a lot of powers that I am in the process of converting that give a Jedi Knight feel, so a future Archetype will probably incorporate that. The 3.5 edition Psychic Warrior used a d8, I based this partly on the Paladin and the Ranger, so I upped the HD.

    Psychic Warrior

Here is my first homebrew class, the Psychic Warrior. In the 3rd edition Expanded Psionics Handbook, the Psychic Warrior was basically a blank canvas, and most of its features were extra feats you took as you leveled up. This one was based on the feats in that book, and was built for the Dark...

    Elf Prestige Class

Not yet. I would have expected the Valenar Elves (double scimitar wielding warriors) to have been in the Unearthed Arcana supplement concerning Eberron, and having no elf subraces in the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide was pretty insulting to Ed Greenwood in my book :p

    Elf Prestige Class

Love it. Make you elf even more elveny. As a matter of interest, for a campaign on Eberron, what would the races there count as? And what would the Star Elf count as?

Al-Qadim: Land of Fate (5e conversion)

Thanks! It mentioned Zakhara in the Elemental Evil guidebook, plus Calimshan. I was thinking of brewing up a Zakharan Half Ogre.

D&D 5E (2014) Large Creatures - How much better is a bigger size for a playable race?

As an aside, I looked at the stats for the Loxo in Shining South guidebook and it stated the size of the creature, and it was actually the same height more or less as a goliath. So it could be classed as a medium sized creature. Anyway, here is my stats for it. Shame WoTC didn't put it in the...

Al-Qadim: Land of Fate (5e conversion)

Great work. One thing I was wondering - are there any PC races that were detailed in the original setting that were unique to Al-Qadim?

    Races of Toril

There was only one new subrace detailed in the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide, and no new races, which I was a bit upset about, and it was a bit of an insult to Ed Greenwood that there were no new subraces for Elves:p So here are conversions for some races of the Realms, including some pretty...

Dark Sun - The Burnt World of Athas (5e Conversion)

The food and the water is a big penalty in a Dark Sun campaign considering just how brutal the world is, and for most adventuring days, there will be a quite a lot of saving throws concerning the heat. I looked though the lore of the setting, and there is nothing about weapons made for...

Dark Sun - The Burnt World of Athas (5e Conversion)

Done all the playable races, though they might need some adjustments, and the dray need a mutation table, as player characters will probably be first generation dray, as opposed to the second generation. I based the Thri - Kreen as described in Thri-Kreen of Athas and brought back the original...

Rhul -Thaun (Jagged Cliff Halfling) On the wound that cuts across the face of Athas, the rhul – thaun cling to not only the towering cliffs, but to an ancient tradition from a time that has been almost forgotten, and in the Kings Age would be impossible to even contemplate for most. The rhul...

Dark Sun - The Burnt World of Athas (5e Conversion)

Ssurran Traversing some of the most hostile lands to be found under the deep crimson sun, and always on the lookout for mercantile opportunities, the ssurrans are adept at surviving and thriving in the lands to the north of the Tyr region. Where other races simply will and can not go, the...

    Fighter Archetype - Blade Dancer

I like this style, though I cannot comment on the balance. I'm currently working on a Dark Sun conversion and this would make a great archetype for elf and half elf fighters with perhaps a little reflavouring to reflect the mood of the setting and Coraanu Star Racer, the first elf.

D&D 5E (2014) Large Creatures - How much better is a bigger size for a playable race?

The Gray Dwarf subrace was included in the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide released last month, and one of the most noteworthy features is its ability to increase its size to large. It got me thinking about how much more powerful a playable race that was large sized be in 5e, and could something...
