I'm very glad to hear it. I wouldn't worry too much about that. Obviously a neat ending would be great for the storyhour, but it's my experience that more campaigns end with a whimper than a bang. I'm amazed at the (real life) length of some of the campaigns reported on these boards, to be...

Good stuff as ever, Spider J. Inter-party tension, wholesale destruction, an evil child-killing pyromaniac, mysterious disappearing images and unexpected consequences from a magic item! I'll certainly forgive the lack of anyone actually dying "on screen" .... but just this one time!! ;)

Good start Funeris. I've been meaning to check this storyhour out for a while, what with enjoying your Valus storyhour and seeing Spider Jerusalem praising it in his. I don't know what took me so long ... well other than finding the time between reading various other storyhours and trying...

I haven't posted in this thread before, which is rather remiss of me, but I've read - and enjoyed - this story from the beginning. I'm glad to see that it hasn't died a complete death - hope to see more update soon. :)

But they rescued Felonca's father,and there was no TPK. Clearly you weren't evil enough. ;) Or both ... ?

I think it's good thing to include at least some insight into what is going through PCs' minds during a fight, especially the longer and more involved ones. Otherwise the narrative tends to get reduced to "A did this ... B did that ... C cast that spell ..." repeated several times, which doesn't...
