Level Up (A5E) What is the vision of the high level fighter?

This looks really cool but also looks like it is definitely a Barbarian ability that activates on-rage.

Level Up (A5E) What is the vision of the high level fighter?

Fight or Flight: Starting at 10th level you can over-exert yourself to react to even the faintest traces of action. Your weapons count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities. When a ranged attack or spell targets or comes within 5 feet of you while traveling to its...

Level Up (A5E) What is the vision of the high level fighter?

Maybe leans too heavily on being a Charisma class (lord knows we have charisma classes) but I feel as a whole the class would just feel so much 'fuller' if Purple Dragon Knight AND the Champion (minus survivor) into the base class and let you put another subclass on top of those. Gives you more...

Level Up (A5E) What is the vision of the high level fighter?

No joke my favorite take on the ranger in 5e yet was a homebrew that was just eldritch knight but ranger spells and druid cantrips (minor changes otherwise, but that was the brunt of it).

    D&D 5E (2014) Am I too strict?

Okay, just read the entire thread front to back. Started out pretty against Helldritch but am coming closer to his side here at the end (though still ultimately on the player's side). My campaigns are usually low on gold so this sort of rule in my game would give me a grand total of zero wizards...

    Guns in D&D - A Hot Take

Are you sure this is the real reason? I've done my fair share of shooting and I'd basically never choose a pistol over a shotgun at a long range. My thoughts would be the popularity of pistols has a much better reason and that reason is also the same reason for the popularity of swords: They are...

    Guns in D&D - A Hot Take

Tinker's Firearm List Simple Weapons -Pistol (3d6) -Musket (smoothbore) (3d8) -Rifle (3d10) If you fail a save vs fire damage all ballistic weapons on your person discharge. Once discharged it takes 1 minute to load or 30 seconds if you have martial weapon proficiency. If a ballistic weapon is...

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

Goblins are able to ride any creature of equal or larger size up to and including other goblins. These creatures do not like it.

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

Goblins reach adulthood at around 500 pounds of meat eaten rather than a certain age.

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

    43. Goblins crave the most extreme flavors, so even if they catch prey fresh they let it lay around until it gets a nice rot flavor.

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

Some my group suggested: Goblins favorite game is Stick-rock Goblins find grey hair fascinating Its a Goblin myth that if corn isnt digested properly, its because your stomache disappeared and you might die soon. Goblins that think they're sophisticated like to correct common speakers that...

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

    16. Goblins try to rhyme whenever they can, but their perception of speech is different so what rhymes to a goblin may just come out as poorly worded to a human.

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

    12. Goblins think they are the only ones smart enough to use traps and thus have disadvantage on any checks to find traps.

    D&D 5E (2014) Make Up a Goblin Fact

Like it says in the title. Making a table of random goblin traits to roll on so they're not all generic cannon fodder. 1. A goblin's traits reflect its diet. If a goblin eats dog it might grow patches of hair over its body. If it eats fish it may have random scales on it.

D&D 5E (2014) Give me your best diseases!

Got a friend running a game in a pestilent land and she asked me for the worst diseases to fill the place with. I've got the ones in the 5e books and a few of my own, but what are your best homebrew diseases?

    D&D 5E (2014) [poll] Barbarian Satisfaction Survey

Not a change I'd suggest, but it seems more like barbarian could easily be renamed 'fighter' and fighter could change to 'warrior'. I mean, it's a silly thing and my only real issue is depending on DM barbarian may be the only one ever to gain exhaustion (to be perfectly clear, I love...

    D&D 5E (2014) Building a better Fighter

I think there are a few suggestions in here that work well. I like the 'shift the enemy 5 feet' or 'shove' on a successful attack, though I might make the shove a couple times per short rest (maybe making either of these abilities a bonus action). A small change I could see in a similar vein...

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

I've only joined on in 5th edition so I'm no expert, but I think there's a warlord in these 28 pages.
