Well, that was an interesting finale and some unexpected twists.

Captain America: Brave New World - Official Trailer (2025)

Originally it was almost definitely about the Kang invasion, but now it has shifted with the plotline being changed.

Captain America: Brave New World - Official Trailer (2025)

Just watched it. It was good, but not blockbuster good, which is what everyone seems to expect from MCU movies since Endgame. The end-credits scene also seemed a lot later into the credits than usual for an MCU movie. I had to look up whether there was one, to make sure I did not turn it off...

Spoilers Doctor Who s15 (or 2) [[spoilers!]]

It feels like there is still way too much to resolve in just one regular episode. This has become a problem with a lot of limited series and shows with short seasons. Even the best D+ MCU series had this happen.

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

Meh, I still think the lost sister bit was wasted screen time. He also watched his adoptive father murdered by Imps, so his need to save people could have been based on his inability to save him instead.

Spoilers Doctor Who s15 (or 2) [[spoilers!]]

It would be hard to see any of the original Toymaker story, as that is one of the ones almost completely missing. I am not sure if they even have the audio for it, the way they do for ones that have been animated. Edit: it looks like a fully animated version of the 4-part series was finally...

    Marvel Television's Ironheart | Official Trailer | Disney+

Gotham and Metropolis are both East Coast cities. DC loved to make fictional analogues for real-world cities, though Gotham is in NJ, rather in NY proper.

    Marvel Television's Ironheart | Official Trailer | Disney+

Blame DC for starting all that with their massive original Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1985 and 1986. And then Marvel ran with the concept in 1986 with the first Secret Wars.

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

So tired of the trope of "argue with each other until the bad guys show up and then forced to fight".

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

If they can ruin Rogue One by killing all the good guys at the end, they can, and should, kill all the bad guys introduced in Andor. Even the war movies that Rogue One was inspired by, Dirty Dozen and Guns of Navarone and so on, one or two of the team made it out alive, but they had to go...

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

I don't think Dedra survives the series. Either she confronts Krennic and he has her eliminated. I think the whole "she is assigned to the Death Star and dies there" is just silly. She will not die off-screen when she dies. And the same for Luthen. We will see his death when it happens.

In the memory/story of Belinda saving that patient's life, did everyone catch Mrs. Flood walking past Belinda?

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

Wheat field planet was tedious. The arguing rebels were stupid and a waste of time.

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

If I were watching one episode a night, instead of the entire 3-episode arc in one night, I would have never made it through the first three episodes of season two, same as with season one's first three episodes. So much unnecessary, and boring, stuff in the first three episodes of each season.

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

There is something like a 1-year time jump between each set of 3 episodes, so don't expect tight continuity.

Trailer Star Wars - Tales of the Underworld

The Ventress ones are very good and I am pretty sure they take place before her appearance on The Bad Batch. I hope we get more with her, as Star Wars really needs an anti-hero Force user. We need more than White and Black and a bunch of incompetence in between. I know there are people how can't...

Spoilers Doctor Who s15 (or 2) [[spoilers!]]

With all the secret tech that UNIT has stashed away, it is easy to think something in there is powerful enough to destroy the Earth, if it gets into the wrong hands, or the right hands use it in the wrong way.

Looks like Conrad is the Who Universe version of Alex Jones. I hope no one gives this character any sympathy.

Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

Nah, kinderblock definitely gave me the Space Nazi vibes that have always been the basis for the Empire, so I found it sounded both fitting and brutal.
