    Does Anyone Care? (Cosmere RPG)

I care! I also thint this game will have legs, big time. Right now, I think a lot of people who are interested are digesting the rules or simply waiting to have the hard copies before going whole hog. The actual play reviews I am seeing on YouTube are promising. Personally, I don't plan to run...

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

Nah, the Red Wizards are already confirmed: likely the rebel, anti-Tam Red Wizards thwt WotChas set up since 4E who are more grey-zoned morally speaking. And the Purple Dragon Knights were pretty heavily hinted at into he flavor text for the Fighter Subclass, emphasizing that not all members of...

I love it and think it's dorky.

Forgotten Realms Books to Have Several Digital DLCs, Including One Featuring Asterion

I have been sort of assuming, since there were a number of culturally grounded Level 1 Feata in the 3E FRCS, and culturally grounded concrete Backgrounds seem likely in a detailed Setting book as opposed to the Core books which co er some very abstract geound...will be interesting to see what we...

Eberron: Forge of the Artificer Delayed Until December

Actually, apparently 80% of Magic revenue comes from players who have never stepped in an FLGS or joined an official tournament. Magic: the Gathering is overwhelmingly a casual kitchen tabletop game.

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

As somebody who read the Encyclopedia for fun as a child...that is kind of a fun part? But, yes, hopefully these books take more of a cue form the game able structure of the new core books.

The Cosmere fandom is extremely positive, I have come to suspect due to self-selection based on the barriers to entry.

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

Yeah, particularly with the Forgotten Realms the various factions are a big part of what sets it a little apart from other generic High Fantasy Settings. The Subclass options in the UA seemed to suggest that factions play a big part in Backgrounds (the Purple dragon Knight Fighter emphasizes...

D&D 5E (2024) Next issue of Game Informer will have details on the two upcoming Forgotten Realms books

They are in these books. Maybe not the Adventures League style factions, but joing factiosn and renowned are something they are leaning into here, including tying the FR factions into the DMG Bastion rules.

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

I agree, though I do like the original box set picture as well myself. I'm kind of easy to please with fantasy art? The main thing I see goijg on is thwt the Player's Guide is coded to match with the PHB usigng FR apeckfic charactes, while the DM book is coded to match the DMG cover but with an...

This does she's light on what makes this release pretty attractive, the designers clearly know and understand 5E and what works.

I mean, as far as I can tell, Alias hasn't come up in FR stuff in a while...but it makes sense she is still around.
