Thanks, I'm a Malazan fan so I think Stormlight Archives makes more sense. But there's another variable in my case of non-ending series; translation. Just to give you an idea, the French book editor that was responsible of Red Rising decided to not translate the sixth and final book... wth :(

Haven't read any Sanderson yet, I guess Mistborn is the perfect entry point? Or go directly to the Stormlight Archives? I'm not too keen to read something not completed, I've been burn.

Are they afraid to sell less? Or they just trying to gauge the volume they must create. Since it's not launched as a new DnD (perhaps 5.5?), not sure how much it will sell.

Ok my FLGS got all three (reg and alt covers) in preoders, with 15% off. I wonder if the preorders "rebates" are everywhere. If so, I wonder why...

I didn't purchase Lore & Legends with the comments here but it's still on my wishlist on Amazon. I guess I'll get it sometimes in the future but my last experience with coffee table books from Amazon are far from great.
