D&D 5E (2014) Question about Attacks of Opportunity

Here is a response from the Sage Advice Compendium, pages 4 and 5: This is helpful regarding reach weapons. I assume the reasoning applies to large creatures who have arms, teeth and tails that have extended reach?

D&D 5E (2014) Question about Attacks of Opportunity

'Tis possible, though the previous version I played was called "AD&D". ;) How do you handle Ganymede81?

D&D 5E (2014) Question about Attacks of Opportunity

I think I would have to rule, that Opportunity Attacks would be provoked in the case where an opponent is crossing square (or hex) sides within the same reach length of an opponent. In other words, no, you can not run in circles around that Giant without it bashing at your repeatedly.

D&D 5E (2014) Question about Attacks of Opportunity

Still mulling this over..... Here is the exact working from the 5eSRD: The broadest possible interpretation is that you can make an OA every time an opponent leaves a square within your reach. That's devastating for creatures with extended reach. Also, if the If a creature has ten foot...

D&D 5E (2014) Question about Attacks of Opportunity

So, I was running a game with my kids last weekend. They were facing a Giant. The question came up about Attacks of Opportunty (AoO) for creatures with extended reach like a Giant. Do creatures with a reach of say, 10 feet, gain an AoO when you travel from 10 feet out to 5 feet out and vice...

    D&D 5E (2014) ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

picture is worth a thousand words...... Here is how I plan to print out the character sheet. You can play with the print setting to generate landscape orientation, narrow margins, two-pages high and one page wide. To be clear, I am very happy and grateful for how the new character sheet...

    D&D 5E (2014) ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Additional Suggestion for version 2.0. Would love to have Gear slots on Character Sheet II be autocomplete text. Is that possible with Excel? Be nice not to have to scroll through the entire list of equipment each time. Or Is it possible to build in a toggle to allow the 'Equipment Packs'...

    D&D 5E (2014) ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

ForgedAnvil, I like the new high density character sheet. But I also like a simpler view as well. For example: I manipulated the Character Summary page to get this view: http://www.screencast.com/t/Al9x10Gc I obtained that view using v1.64, Character Summary tab, print preview, narrow...

D&D Fan Rewrites the 5E Player's Handbook Index

Maybe a caching issue on my side? I downloaded the new Word Document several times and even cloned the site to my desktop. In all cases, the Word document had older data than the txt file.
