Voting for 2019 ENnies Is Live!

I was going to ask how they got on the list. I was surprised to not see Strongholds and Followers. I could easily see them win a couple categories.

It was just announced, and it's a hardcover of Eberron.

    New boxed set

During the Dungeons and Dragons "Spoilers & Swag" show guest Alex Kammer revealed a new boxed set. This is one of the four products being released at "D&D Live 2019: The Descent". It seems like it's a new starter box but it could be another set. You can watch a clip of it here...

Stranger Things and D&D at Last: A Review

I disagree the miniatures are cheap, the "painted" model is identical except the mouth has a little red paint. The adventure should start at level 1 for new players to not overwhelm them. The adventure itself is extremely short and poorly written. Let's compare it to the Starter Set which is $12...

Stranger Things and D&D at Last: A Review

It's a terrible product, the miniatures are junk and the adventure was severely lacking. I very much regret my purchase, it's most definitely the worst 5e product to come out of WoTC thus far. If you can cancel your order you should.

    D&D 5E (2014) Strongholds & Followers: A Review

I thought the book was great and really enjoyed the way it was written. I read it in his voice. Obviously everyone will have their own unique impression.

    Spring's D&D Release Will Be Ship-Themed

It's weird that Critical Role is basically doing a ship campaign right now and a ship book is coming out.

Pathfinder 2E Paizo's Stephen Radney-MacFarland Previews The Rogue Class For Pathfinder 2nd Edition!

I'm not a Pathfinder guy, what does "flat-footed" mean in PF?

A Look at the Duerger: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Preview

It's just my opinion, it's okay if it differs from yours. I love everything they've done, I just think this one didn't make sense. My comment doesn't herald the end of the golden age of ENWorld I promise.

A Look at the Duerger: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Preview

UA is meant to be playtest material. This is a preview from an upcoming book, it does not fit at all and is insulting that they are trying to release this as UA.

A Look at the Duerger: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes Preview

They should have released nothing rather than release a book preview under Unearthed Arcana. The preview is also pretty boring, not sure what they were thinking.

Okay that makes sense, sorry about that.

    A Change Is Coming...

This is incorrect, his full time gig is Lead Writer at Turtle Rock Studios, a video game designer. Creating YouTube videos, writing the Critical Role Vox Machina comic book and writing his own fantasy novels are all a side gig. Maybe this Kickstarter is the impetus for him to leave his full...

D&D 5E (2014) What are the Top 5 Most Powerful Spells for their Level?

Ask her to try flinging Alchemists Fire or Vials of Acid with Catapult for extra fun. Oil also works for the stingy DM followed up by a Fire Bolt.

D&D 5E (2014) [5E] Frog God Games KS of Tome of Horroes

Yep it does. I supported a lot of their kickstarters and I won't be doing this one since there hasn't been much on this incident.

WotC Is Hiring A New D&D Game Designer

I like how everyone is like maybe I should just quit my regular job and be a game designer. They do require that you've actually done something prior. Right in the Experience section it says this: At least three product credits (books, board games, video games, and the like) required...

D&D 5E (2014) Xanathar's Guide to Everything gets the Shadow Sorcerer

To be honest I had no idea how to do that, I just figured it out, see below. The shadow sorcerer gets their magic from the shadow fell itself it makes them very resilient and also can make them incredibly quirky and fun to play shadow so sure is really fun design because it's the dark sorcerer...
