I've read all those as well as all of Designers & Dragons. Have to agree regarding Of Dice and Men. It's a weird read with the bizarre vampire game session bits mixed in with each chapter. Definitely the least essential read of the bunch in my opinion when covering RPG history.

I've always been a sucker for a Super Hero RPG. I've played Champions, Heroes Unlimited, FASERIP, Mayfair's DC Heroes, Mutants & Masterminds, SuperWorld, Icons, & Sentinels of the Multiverse. Mutants & Masterminds & Icons are my current go to systems depending on what I'm feeling.

In my campaigns the standard session length is 4 to 4 1/2 hours. These are all in person sessions hosted at my home. We play weekly save for weeks where we have multiple cancelations or holidays and the like intrude.

Sometimes these release dates seem wild to me. Chicago by Night for Vampire 5th Edition has been on my local store shelves for at least half a year now. I know because I picked up my copy then.

That's a no from me. WOTCs recent books and attitude/behavior this year have put me off them moving forward. I do have A5E and TotV if I want to scratch the 5e style itch in the future but my group has migrated to DCC and other games for the foreseeable future.

Was not expecting to see a shout out to the Street Fighter RPG today. Still have all my books for that one as well as fond memories of running it in the past. It does make a pretty decent system for this type of beat em up inspired game.
