I am with you. When I read that stuff I say "huh? who are these people and how do they play D&D?" The rules have NOTHING to do with roleplaying for me. My groups have always roleplayed hard in every edition I have played and 4E will be no different and that fact that players have daily powers...

I strongly join with Erik in this. I've worked with Linae on GSL issues and she is about as cool and nice as you could ever want. She is not the "problem" and I am certain that she doesnt like the delay any more than we do. Believe me, Linae and Scott want to help us third party publishers. So...

I still plan on paying the buy-in. I would hope they would consider extending the period or perhaps reducing the total buy-in, but that is their call. I am still strongly interested in advanced copies.

By the way, I have assured Lisa and Erik and James and company that when I buy Paizo for pennies on the dollar that I will let them keep their jobs. :) Demon lords are magnanimous, after all... :)

Lizard, I generally agree with all your past points but this one I dont. Maybe you didnt mean to go as far as you did here. I absolultely think it is 100% up in the air what will and wont be allowed under the GSL. I dont know if it will let me do Tome. I dont know if it will let me do Adventure...

We arent merging. Necro is Necro, Paizo is Paizo. But we are partnered. Paizo's Pathfinder line is supporing 3.5 and their Pathfinder set of rules. Necro, through Paizo, is doing 4E products. So in a way, come to Paizo and you have the best of both worlds. Want to stay 3E? Go Pathfinder. Want...

The quality/consistency rules WERE in the STL not the OGL. Which is why you had so many OGL-only products.
