Hi Ant---
Are you planning to list RPGA only items? For example, there's an RPGA art portfolio as well as the Planescape one.
Also, any plans to list catalogs?
What about other tournament modules (Origins 1 Tomb of Horrors, Origins 2 Expedition to the Barrier Peaks)?
But why change the directory/URL name, then, if discussion is still "general tabletop gaming"---could just change the descriptor for the board and leave the URLs (and bookmarks and google searches, etc.) intact :erm:
This is probably too late to help you out, but Grace is one of favorite one-shot scenarios ever.
When the Biohazard Games folks (ex-Pagan) ran a similar-ish Blue Planet scenario ("Deep Sh*t", at an underwater science research station with a partial power outage) at KULCon in 1993/94, they...
That artifact originally appeared in the Greyhawk campaign adventure "Dark Druids"---written and DM'd by Rob Kuntz. Skip Williams' PC recovered the artifact, at least for a short time, IIRC....
I just rec'd the reprints today (in trade for some JG and TSR modules), and am going to enjoy opening them, one at a time, over each of the next three nights :D
I would probably go with The Codex of the Infinite Planes or the Crook of Rao, myself, but you can always change up an artifact or relic to make them more or less powerful than as written.
The Origins of Greyhawk Artifacts and Relics details a list of artifacts and relics from the Greyhawk...
I'm actually more of a fan of the Aliens: This Time It's War board/minis/war game than I am the RPG (system-wise). The RPG system is a bit too much for my tastes, but the minis game simplifies the system significantly and keeps the pace of action flowing fast.
Some pics @ FB in case anyone's...
I continue to remain very jazzed on the universe of Aliens/Prometheus, and would love to see a new licensed RPG published, or a revival of the Leading Edge Games RPG from c. 1989.
Bruce Heard's "Spells Between the Covers" (Dragon 82) was quite good, as were Ed Greenwood's "Pages from the Mages" series:
- "Pages From the Mages" in Dragon #62
- "More Pages From the Mages" in Dragon #69
- "Pages From the Mages III" in Dragon #92
- "Pages From the Mages IV" in Dragon #97
-...
You could demote all of the gods one or two levels, which could be very interesting:
Down 1 level:
- Greater --> Lesser (presumably Cyndor as an "intermediate" god would be treated like either a Greater or Lesser, your call)
- Lesser --> Demi
- Demi/Hero/Saint --> Quasi
- Quasi = Quasi (they...
In terms of Greyhawk-specific effects, I think you can do all sorts of interesting things with the baseline of a post-asteroid-strike-nuclear-winter for the campaign:
- you could leverage the asteroid/comet strike as part of Paizo's "Age of Worms" campaign arc, either during or after the arc...
