D&D General Multiclassing Shouldn't be Treated as the Default

The real problem here isn't with the synergistic effect, but with how bad both hypothetical classes are. If a single feature from one class added to another class makes said other class so much better than either class on their own to the point that it's a problem, your classes are too weak.

D&D General Golems With Ranged Attacks?

Magen seem like they'd be good here, especially the Galvan Magen, which has a 60 ft x 5ft recharge nonmagical lightning AoE and flight.

    D&D 5E (2024) How D&D Beyond Will Handle Access To 2014 Rules

People are losing some measure of convenience, which wouldn't be a problem if said loss of inconvenience was actually unavoidable instead of being deliberate.

D&D 5E (2014) Should the Paladin be changed into a more generic half-caster magic knight?

Three months isn't anywhere near long enough to warrant this level of response. Anyway, I personally feel that Warlock can better fulfill the generic half-caster magic knight shtick than Paladin.

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D 2024 Rules Oddities (Kibbles’ Collected Complaints)

Conjure Minor Elementals should have used Spirit Shroud's scaling (+1 die per two levels), or at most standard scaling (+1 die per level).

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D 2024 Rules Oddities (Kibbles’ Collected Complaints)

There's so many ways to make Conjure Minor Elemental -> multiple attacks happen on just a single turn that it's just sad.

D&D 5E (2024) Current Stealth Rule Actually Works As Is. If Moving Out of Cover After Hiding Makes Enemies Immediately "Finds You", Hide Would Be Totally UNUSABLE.

I just find it hilarious that: 1. If anyone hostile to you anywhere has you in their line of sight, you can't attempt to Hide from anyone. 2. If anyone hostile to you anywhere manages to find you, you lose the invisible condition against everyone.

D&D 5E (2024) Weird invisibility loophole saves Hiding but ruins the spell: Lose the Condition's benefits without losing the Condition

Who's we? I've got an all-seeing eye and familiars that can see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

    D&D 5E (2014) Feats AND Ability increases?

Here's an idea, for what it's worth: Make the standard class progression ASIs be solely for ASIs and ASI feats, then let characters choose a non-ASI feat at the levels their character's proficiency bonus increases (5, 9, 13, 17). Adjust monsters upward if you find that necessary. Don't make...

    D&D 5E (2014) So what's the scoop on D&D in PDF Format?

I can't think of a worse format to save to than HTML.

D&D General The Mysterious Isle & Eye of Xxiphu - Time Travel Query

No. The description above is making a situation appear to exist that actually doesn't. Try this: The party (A1,B1,C1,D1) are now all back in time ten days. As they now exist at the same time as their original selves (who have not yet experienced the events above), I will be rename them to...

D&D General The Mysterious Isle & Eye of Xxiphu - Time Travel Query

Wait. Did the two PCs that didn't go through the portal change the events the original party went through? If so, you have a time paradox on your hands (to be resolved in whatever fashion makes the most sense). If not, then the people who were sent back in time ten days wouldn't be able to meet...

    D&D 5E (2014) Eldritch Strike rules question

Yes, that's exactly how that would work - as illogical as that may seem to quite a few people.

    D&D 5E (2014) Eldritch Strike rules question

No. 1. Conditions (whether beneficial or harmful) aren't a thing a creature loses (or counts as not having) because of what another creature has. 2. Unseen Attackers and Targets doesn't apply here because mechanically, the second benefit of the invisible condition doesn't care if you are...

DDAL Polymorph and drop monster into a pickle jar.

The rules don't cover this interaction, so it's ultimately your decision what happens. That being said, creature reverts to its normal form in the closest space/square that can accommodate said form is the ruling I go with.

D&D General Class for these stats

While I wouldn't have a problem with any class using those stats, the stats to me seem to suggest a melee ranger first and foremost, then any of the martial or heavy armor clerics, then fighter.

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Counterspell and Dispel Magic are means to interrupt magic that only people able to cast magic (or have the appropriate magic item(s)) can do. The poster (and thread) is referring to bringing back a way to interrupt magic which once existed in the game (but currently doesn't) that anyone can...

D&D 5E (2014) Is Grapple forced movement supposed to care about carrying capacity?

Carrying Capacity mattering for grapple movement means that mechanically, a roc possibly cannot pick up a elephant and definitely cannot pick up a whale, which goes against stated lore.

D&D 5E (2014) Does an item to enhance Unarmed Strike exist?

Since we're rocking with the act of necromancy now, it would be amiss to not mention the non-attunement Wraps of Unarmed Prowess (in +1, +2, and +3 variants) from the Book of Many Things, which makes unarmed strikes magical and adds their respective bonus to attacks and damage.
