    Artworks in an RPG

You mean this impossible RuneQuest art? Presumably this is Lisa A Free painting is terrible, This watercolour painting in particular repulses me Both date from the early 1980s, RuneQuest.

    Artworks in an RPG

You are mixing up illustration with graphic design and layout. Take a look at these examples http://questingblog.com/control-panel-book-layout-osr/ Look at the examples and ask yourself whether those pages would be just as comprehensible as big blocks of undifferentiated text. There are some...

    Favorite "Homeric" RPG or Setting

My point about missing Mythic Babylon is that it's the only Bronze Age setting so far released for Mythras. It is also very faithful to the setting and very well researched. Most other RPGs bastardise or fictionalise the setting significantly.

Mythic Constantinople isn't remotely Bronze Age, it is set in 1450 CE, there are firearms and cannons detailed in the setting ... Neither for that matter is Mythic Rome, Mythic Britain, Mythic Logres those are all Iron Age. Mediterraneo Mitico is a Spanish language Mediterranean setting which...

    Favorite "Homeric" RPG or Setting

You missed out Mythic Babylon bruv! To add to this, Mythras has many, many settings books, covering Mythic Earth settings, and outside of that.

    Favorite "Homeric" RPG or Setting

Mythic Babylon, certainly the best true Bronze Age rpg I have read. It is based on Mythras but highly customised for the setting. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/355333/Mythic-Babylon

    Current fees and costs

Hence why so many RPG books have such god-awful layout.

    Current fees and costs

Outside of actually writing the thing, I put layout above all other parts of the production including editing and proofreading. Not to say editing and proofreading are not important, but layout is more important. Stock artwork can be used depending on the licence - but usually (not always) once...

What game is the best simulationist game?

As @uzirath posted it is this one: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/116267/Monster-Island It is essentially a stealth-tribute to CAS. All the "colonist" gods are drawn from his settings, the sorcery is re-flavoured and extended to emulate a Smith setting, almost everything is cursed, the...

What game is the best simulationist game?

I challenge your definition of best! In as much I would say "best" should include "playable" as a consideration. There were and I suppose are many RPGs that went down the realism path to a dead end of tedious detail which very few people played. It is possible that GURPS will never be equalled...

Please Just Play the Adventure (One Shots)

I sympathise as I have run a one-shot Call of Cthulhu scenario where the players did not want to investigate, turning the adventure into Call of Call the Police. On the other hand the adventure itself sounds like a bit of a damp squib. I do think the "goal" of the journey being going to the city...

    Destined - (d100 Supers) - Victorian Characters

That's exactly what I am after thanks, and the right kind of power level. I will post some stats when I work out the characters I have so far.

    Destined - (d100 Supers) - Victorian Characters

It is very 'League' - which is why I am asking here for some different ideas! Jekyll/Hyde and Griffin aren't as interesting (to me). Rue Morgue is an intriguing suggestion, but I am not sure though that anyone, or thing would be a suitable PC for a supers-ish game from that story.

    Destined - (d100 Supers) - Victorian Characters

I am creating some Victorian supers characters as pregen PCs for a short adventure, power level Street to Epic. So far my list is: Adam (Frankenstein's monster) Mina Harker Altamont (Sherlock Holmes) Nemo I am looking for suggestions for other characters? The system is the recently released...

    Sorting armor by effectiveness

I think you would have to have rules for Fatigue first, then incorporate armour and weather as a factor in fatigue. Mythras has a fairly simple fatigue system and in hot climates heavy armour will escalate fatigue penalties.
