This does sound like a great idea but I do wonder how they figure the game is 10 years older then the company that made it? Or the fact that it makes the game older then D&D? I did not think it came out in 1966. But I will be thinking of backing the Kickstarter.

I made my 2nd edition PDF's from the Core Rules CD, with the expansion and PDF Creator which is I beleive still a free download. Only issue is the PDF is not indexed, but it is also not pirated.

That is almost a word for word copy from 2nd edition's Complete Book of Humanoids. So I can very well see it as a potential write up for a PC Race. Now I would prefer it as part of MM 2 thugh, as WotC has stated they do not intend another rulebook along the lines of a PHB 2, or an Unearthed...
