I don't read the OP as anti-4e. I can certainly see where he's coming from - 4e runs smoothly, but at the cost of the quaint charm of its predecessors. It does have its own charm, though, but it will take some time to mature. With an OGL and a good 3PP support it might had matured sooner... :devil:

I don't find it implausible. I simply find it incorrect. Please note that this has nothing to to with trademark law. It's a matter of contract law. I doubt US contract law is that dissimliar to contract law in my country.

You are misrepresenting what S'mon said. Terrible things do happen to your legal rights when you sign the GSL. He did not however claim that terrible things happen to you or your company. Different things. As to the license being fairly standard - I signed a license with TSR in the dark days...

That is so false it's not even funny. They can revoke their offer, but certainly not a valid contract. Owning a trademark doesn't make you God.

I think you are seriously confusing civil suits with criminal suits here. It's one thing to sue for damages - quite another thing to just report a crime to the police.

I only see it when I look at the thread list for a forum, not in an actual thread. I don't know if it's related to the missing navigation, but neither thing was there a few hours ago.

All of a sudden I lost a piece of the page (see attachment) when I go to one of the forums. The main forum page still contains it. Instead of this line, I get a JavaScript error ('null' is null or not an object). What has happened? I use IE6 on WinXP.

Only when that corner is adjacent to the origin. Look at the top row - no counting across a corner there. The square around the wall corner is clearly 3 squares away from the blast origin.
