Yeah... totally agree about this. Recently had to do this for another product and it's super annoying. This is probably the only way they have to easily get metrics and email addresses for those that download.

Things I would like to see... Search needs some tweaks. It's not granular enough. And it doesn't allow for excluding things. Related to that, wish there was some way for users to flag items that are categorized incorrectly. For example an adventure module categorized as a core rulebook...

While I totally understand that project creators want to have control of the visual presentation, I'm a bit over them placing all the text inside images. Makes it even more difficult to find projects because the text isn't searchable.

I thought The Vineyard with its 50K funding goal might not make it. But it looks like they pulled it off with 11 hours to go.

Coming back to the Dretelia discussion. They're going to close just north of $10K. I believe they could have had a $10K goal and still produced a decent book with POD options. Hopefully, they'll try again now that they know what their ceiling is.

They re-instated my account, but I'll start using alternate methods from now on.
