Honestly, given the limitations of the rules as written and the low character level, the only solution is to get the dragon to chase them. ;)

Homebrew a version of sleep as a ritual that requires more than one caster. It will knock a creature out for a day.

My brain is literally melting onto my keyboard as I type this because I simply cannot understand the level of cognitive dissonance on display here. The only way to explain it... is that this is performance art of some kind.

100% of my group is playing 5e every Tuesday. ;). 100% of my group in the early 2000s played 3e. Yes, I know it's a meaningless stat. But that's the same amount of data that exists on how many people are playing 5e vs 3e.

I haven't read through the entire thread so please pardon me if this is has been discussed. Which of the two products would be best for running a 2ed AD&D game? Or are they both about equal for rulesets that aren't licensed by FG?

I think Mystic works just fine. I'm looking forward to how it develops with sub-classes and whatnot.

They actually released this as a PDF several years ago, but it wasn't the best looking transfer. It could definitely use some cleaning up before they release it again.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a 2e PHB. I would buy one on eBay, but in this case I would prefer the PDF.
