    What RPGs genres are lacking?

There is definitely a wide spread of rpgs, I guess our question was about where are they the thinnest - in the sense of lacking. One could argue that the world doesn't need another fantasy rpg for example!

    What RPGs genres are lacking?

For me 7TV from Crooked Dice nails the movie/tv aspect better than anything but it isn't an RPG, more wargame. I'm not sure how making it an RPG would make it better.

Exploring the Realm of Indie Role-Playing Games

Hey Rodrigo, I hadn't expected a reply, and not one so promptly, I've had a busy month but wanted to circle back and say bravo! Sounds like the universe has gifted you an opportunity and you are working away at it. Awesome. Keep working, keep being creative and it will come good!

Kickstarter's 'U' Shaped Curve Is A Reverse 'J' And More Pronounced Than You Thought!

I believe it is a more common experience than Morrus has experienced but that is conjecture. What I can confirm is that Kickstarter can work and be a viable means to bring a game product to market. Even if it is just you and your imagination.

Exploring the Realm of Indie Role-Playing Games

Hey Rodrigo, I realise this is a six month old post but I've just come across it so I wanted to say it is possible, as Morrus said in his reply, that you can make a living as an independent game publisher but I'll warn you that it is incredibly hard. Doing it for fun, or to make some side...

Kickstarter's 'U' Shaped Curve Is A Reverse 'J' And More Pronounced Than You Thought!

I'm not going to argue about Morrus' numbers. I mean, he's done the maths and has the figures so they are correct for him. I launched fifteen Kickstarters last year, (that includes the one that is still running and ends January 7th 2025). So, from this article perspective I ran 14 in 2024...
