Yeah my group has about decided already that if no real changes are to be made, it will not be our system of choice. I did like the Lexington adventure though.
Yeah, some worlds have detailed measurement systems for such, but there are some countries on some worlds where you just can't pay with enemy currency. Of course, gold could always be melted down.
Tehee.. but in some worlds it is fun to see what gold you have from which country. Assome enemy country would not want you to pay with any given currency.
Thi is.... really that is so silly beyond words.
As a GM I'd never allow bardic performances to work while transmitted by technology. The magic just doesn't transfer. And 40 bard followers? Not over my torn GM screen.
But my guess is they inspire you to fight faster so you don't have to...
More city adventures. Best with some intrigue added, and work assassins and thieves may do.
Also would be nice to have more overland adventures not just consisting of "slay orc group, slay bandits, find missing child."
Level range 6-11 would be helpful for my groups.
I would suggest running them astray in a part of the warrens - the good thing about them is that you can just add another dungeon of however big a size you want it. They can return later to the real part.
Alternatively, run the planned encounter as is because the whole thing with the brooch is...
I usually let players roll it. But that's just a preference. Otherwise I'd stay with the highest available PB.
Groups can be overpowered like any where else. At the beginning, they tend to be underpowered though.
We used average HD but at every 4th level together with stats increase we used...
Walls and floor don't get a save. They are not considered to be in anyone's possession or attendance. Same with doors - although I would probably allow the door to make a save as well.
With a pit so created, you'd get the same reflex save as for the spell "create pit."
We build with LEGO and use the figures as miniatures all the time. If you have someone in the family who loves building with LEGO then it's perfect, otherwise it takes too much time indeed.
Most games, it's all the same level. However, in some games where players play more than one char, there is a much wider gap. 10 level differences aren't so uncommon, and groups of mixed levels adventure together.
I am a problem in that I refuse to play with most GMs who don't allow the full range of products for a given game. Very few exceptions - as in when the world we want to play on would not justify certain powers or books. This is why I am GM in 95% of games.
Once I'm in a game I am very...
