D&D 5E (2014) Community Content Enforcement in the DM's Guild (Does it literally even?)

I hear ya but these, as far as game licenses go, are mostly apples and oranges. The d20 STL was for a single trademark meant to layer on top of some OGL works. The various private property licenses like for Dragon Magazine, etc, have nothing to do with anything I am discussing. The GSL and...

D&D 5E (2014) Community Content Enforcement in the DM's Guild (Does it literally even?)

I think this might be a bit jumbled. DMs Guild is not Open Gaming and how someone future WotCer views Open Gaming probably is only of cursory importance to what their DMs Guild policy becomes when 6E is closer to a reality. I'm guessing this current situation is more like having a GSL (with...

D&D 5E (2014) Community Content Enforcement in the DM's Guild (Does it literally even?)

I wonder what happens when they decide it is time for 6E? Will all of the DM's Guild content be taken down and disallowed to sell elsewhere based on the license as it is now?

    D&D 5E (2014) Three Saves

Yup. Been doing that for 12 years with my G&G playtest but I pair Str and Con, Dex and Int, Wis and Chr. I think it works great.

    D&D 5E (2014) So, 5e OGL

Not a mistake. While the OGC in any document or work released under the OGL is available for use to others using the OGL properly, the document itself is still protected by copyright. It's the same as anything someone gives away for free not being free to distribute without their permission...

    D&D 5E (2014) Windows

Defenestration has a long standing tradition in RL combat. :) Is it too early in the 5E OGL era for a full supplement on this subject alone? :p https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defenestration

Where do you read the most? Outdoors? In bed? When you read books, do you prefer large print? Do you wear eyeglasses? Contact lenses? How much are you willing to invest in a device? Would you like to be able to mark them up with notes? Here are a couple of overviews that might be helpful...

Petition to Name Element 117 "Octarine", in honour of Sir Terry Pratchett

There was a fifty-fifty chance I'd sign something like this but when I saw they needed 50K signatures, I pushed my hat down over my eyes, stood on one foot, and signed away . . .
