    The mandalorian [Spoilers]

That episode was purely epic. The closest I've come to the feeling I got since watching a new hope for the first time.

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC On Tasha, Race, Alignment: A Several-Year Plan

And for me this is the crux of the argument, the default positioning of DnD, in people's homebrew whatever you want goes, however how does the vanilla DnD present itself? Is it like you say as an action movie where minions are just fodder for our heroes (is this even an acceptable stance these...

Pathfinder 2E Regarding the complexity of Pathfinder 2

Well your posts have certainly convinced me to switch to another system, so I owe you for saving me wasted energy ☺️

Pathfinder 2E Regarding the complexity of Pathfinder 2

Thank you, some interesting suggestions, shadow of the weird wizard sounds good, I hope it gets good vtt community support, I could see myself going for that. I played dragon age and quite enjoyed that, so that's another potential, a bit of a pain teaching the group another new system but...

Pathfinder 2E Regarding the complexity of Pathfinder 2

Well that seems a resounding no, so what system do people recommend that allows varied mechanical character builds, reasonable tactical combat and a nice choice of character options on level up, while still maintaining a semblance of balance? Not interested in OSE stuff, tried em and we found...

Pathfinder 2E Regarding the complexity of Pathfinder 2

Anyone got anything positive to say about this system? I was running a homebrew campaign in pf2e and quite enjoying it until lockdown hit, I've been spending what free time I have getting it up and running in foundry vtt, but reading this thread I'm wondering if it's worth the effort and I...

    The mandalorian [Spoilers]

This was for me the weakest episode so far, I still enjoyed it, but I feel it could've been improved in a few ways: A) Make it clear that the random blue guy is being dragged along for a good reason, maybe he has experience of Imperial Tech (which is sort of implied, but stating it up front...

Virtual Happy Hour (Brews & Spirits, Pics & Reviews)

It can be too sweet, but i would advise looking around as the quality varies a lot, and a lot of the more mas market brands tend to over sweeten. I'm guessing from the fact New Zealand makes some amazing honey, there must me some great Meads over there too

Virtual Happy Hour (Brews & Spirits, Pics & Reviews)

I love Mead, however it gets me drunk very, very quickly! The stuff i'm currently drinking is Viking Bloods Mead from the Lancashire mead company, its very rich which makes it perfect for cold winter nights https://www.lancashiremeadcompany.co.uk/product/vikings-blood-mead/ I do have a...

I suppose the great unknown so far is that is dilithium now stable? They've not mentioned any boom incidents since the burn.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

Yep as we move into another national lockdown I've come to the realisation that it'll be 8 months at best before we can game face to face. I'm trying to get my pf2e campaign up and running in foundry, but I can't decide if I'd be better off starting from scratch as it's been such a long time...

    The mandalorian [Spoilers]

Bit of a tangent, and I hope I don't derail the thread. I subscribed to disney + for this and obviously there is other stuff om their, I've never seen any of the star wars animated stuff, can anyone recommend which ones I watch and in in what order? (assuming its on disney+)

Pathfinder 2E Another Deadly Session, and It's Getting Old

Foundry only requires installation on the host computer, this can then be reached through a browser by everyone else, the downside is you need a relatively powerful host pc and a good internet connection for that. If you don't have that you can always pay a monthly subscription to have your...

Pathfinder 2E Another Deadly Session, and It's Getting Old

For me 5e has more wiggle room, so if a group is not optimised or not particularly tactically accute then encounters aren't as punishing, however due to its tighter math, pf2e doesn't have this leeway I think this makes it harder for published pf2e adventures, as they cannot build for as wide a...
