D&D General Explain Bounded Accuracy to Me (As if I Was Five)

Or you could have played the adventures or looked at Rogue's Gallery that made it quite clear that Gygax was an extremely Monty Haul DM with PCs with crazy high stats who railed against those who were even more Monty Haul and pcs with higher stats than his table's PCs. There's a Ring of Air...

D&D General Explain Bounded Accuracy to Me (As if I Was Five)

Bounded Accuracy as described in the Next playtest doesn't really exist in 5e — it requires that there's no expectation for bonuses based on level or magic items. It requires very large damage bonuses per level to happen and the player base freaked out when they started showing big numbers for...

D&D 4E 4E Character Optimization WOTC rescue Handbook Guide

The Binder Warlock powers do not have a level. And just in general, <you are unaware of me options> tend to be of limited value in a party who cannot do that well in something that's about to go to combat. And you're probably triggering that dominate as fast as you can in combat, which also...

D&D 4E 4E Character Optimization WOTC rescue Handbook Guide

Just in general, best to start your own thread, don't force people to download files, and keep it a lot more simple as to what you're doing. A lot of the build revolves around illegal elements or elements that don't work that way(Sword of the White Well is from a deleted feat, Hex Expertise is...

    D&D 4E 4e ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Basically. Just in general though, if you're getting +1 AC at the cost of a feat, it probably shouldn't be worth it to you — on average, it maybe makes 1 in 40 attacks miss you(because say half attacks don't go after AC), meaning every 5 combats or so on average, you get missed because of it.

    D&D 4E Item Sets

Purple is exactly what this should be rated. Purple doesn't mean low. It means in this case very situational.

    D&D 4E Item Sets

The sky blue rating is if you have the group where that's possible. A lot of groups either are random groups thrown together similar to LFR or don't have that much control over picking magic items. Or might be difficult to convince to get. It isn't similar to Fortune Stones where every single...

She was nowhere near that. Maybe in the $10 million range after all things said and done.

    D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie Hit or Flop?

Robert Downey Jr with Avengers Endgame is almost certainly highest paid for a single production. He had a cut of back end+huge payment upfront because he was out of his '3 movies contract'

D&D Movie/TV Should the D&D Movie Been Serious or Not Called D&D?

The $150M doesn't include marketing — as an example, they likely paid several million for the Super Bowl ad. And then theaters typically take a 50% cut of revenue over the length of a showing — so the likely amount of money they lost is around $35M before the cost of marketing. There may be...

D&D Movie/TV Should the D&D Movie Been Serious or Not Called D&D?

It was marketed in the way you'd market a bad movie that you were hoping to sucker viewers into going. It was a reasonably solid fun movie with good reviews(72 on Metacritic which is top 25% MCU level) that shouldn't have done that. I mean, just look at the 30 second Superbowl Commercial...
