That is interesting. I mostly play martial characters despite the fact that they have largely been marginalized in WotC versions of D&D. Makes me wonder if I might have missed out on something by skipping 4E. :unsure:

Return to a finite number of allowable spells per day (i.e. remove spammable cantrips). Go back to different progressions (attacks, saving throws, etc.) for different classes (i.e. remove the "one proficiency bonus to rule them all" paradigm)

Yeah, when I looked to upvote Otus, my favorite D&D artist of all time and tumbleweeds, I was pretty shocked.

As well as different lengths, speed factors and armor class adjustment modifiers. Assuming your table actually paid any attention to those attributes (ours didn't).
