Beetles, Centipedes, and Chickens: PATHFINDER Minis

Well Terror Bird is the common name for a type of avian apex predator that really did exist about a half a million years ago, so if anything Paizo might have actually swung back into an even more accurate name with this little copyright dodge, and Terror Bird sounds cooler than Axe Beak to me...

Unearthed Arcana Waterborne Adventures: New from Unearthed Arcana

I just don't like the lack of symmetry between these UA races and the ones in the PHB, especially when some of the PHB races have equally potent racial features and still get the +2/+1.

WotC Survey Result: Classes OK, Eberron Needs Work

Part of the problem with making the Artificer a Wizard archtype is that there really isn't room within the standard form of an arcane tradition to add combat proficiencies, or at least not without either making the Atificer a very powerful class or stripping back what spell focused features the...

WotC Survey Result: Classes OK, Eberron Needs Work

I worry that WotC feels compelled to stick to the classes in the Players Handbook, even if making a new class makes more sense. It's an admirable position to take from the position of avoiding system bloat, but I think they need to be willing to break that rule if a good reason to do so presents...

WotC Survey Result: Classes OK, Eberron Needs Work

I can't tell if that is jab at the vanishing elemental evil adventurers guide or not lol. I am really looking forward to seeing what they do with Ebberon, most of the races were ok but maybe a little underpowered in their abilities bonuses and lacking in fluff racial abilities. The warforged...

D&D Surges Into Lead In Orr Group Figures

Pathfinders subscriptions are probably going to keep them going for a while. I think the thing they need to be concerned about is making sure they are releasing adventures and content of the same quality as WotC, so far they haven't been threatened by the two Tyranny of Dragons modules which...

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

Yeah this is the same reason why I am so unsure about this setup. This just isn't the system for games where players come in and out and the DM changes all the tiem, there is too much of a focus on one account being crucial, I would rather see lower prices shared across the group so no one...

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

Can you create characters and populate monsters with stats included? that's close enough to e-tools for me.

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

It is a very relevant question though, if they are going to be the only company with a D&D license that would be major incentive to me to buy their product (I want digital tools), if they are just the first of many, I am going to have to wait though to see what the market looks like because...

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

Smiteworks, are you the exclusive license holder of D&D 5e digital tools, like right now you are the first, but does your licence state that you and only you can create official 5e digital tools? Mod Note: Please see my post below. ~Umbran

FANTASY GROUNDS Virtual Tabletop's D&D License!

The price point is just too steep for me, I don't need the map building/digital play space tools, really all I am looking for is a character creator. And I don't think I could convince my friends to share, we all want to be able to make characters whenever we want, not just when linked to one...

Eberron's Keith Baker Launches PHOENIX: DAWN COMMAND Card Based RPG

I have pledged but I want to see what else they have to spoil about the game, I'll say I'm 80% sold, and if they can show some better examples of the art and gameplay I wont pull my pledge before the the last day.

Erik Mona on Paizo Releases and D&D 5E's Impact

They keep on saying that and I will but into the fact that Pathfinder 2e might not be right around the corner...but I don't think it is that far away either. Just the fact that they can write a entire book full of major revisions shows that they are at least contemplating the flaws of the...

Sage Advice: The Rules of Spellcasting

I find it weird that you meet the somatic requirements for M,S, spells with a implement in hand, but you need a completely free hand to meet the somatic requirements for just plain S, spells. I would let you keep your focus in hand for those spells too.

Check Out GF9's Gargantuan Red Dragon

generally unpainted miniatures cost more than painted miniatures as hobby miniatures are usually much higher quality sculpts and materials compared to the sort of things you get from a company like Wizkids.

    The Hellcow Report

I am really interested to see what Phoenix looks like, reminds me a bit of Exalted in the tone they are suggesting. It would be nice to get on board a game like that from ground zero/first edition.

Giants & Strategy Guides: Art Previews from Paizo

I was thinking the same thing this art is all a little more reserved than usual.

TRAPDOOR TECH To Team Up With ED GREENWOOD?

This seems more up their alley, their strength always was GUI over mechanical content, they just didn't understand how a character creator should work at a fundamental level. I would love to see them put their design skills to an interactive book.

    EN World EN5ider Has Launched!

Morrus, will Patreon be the only venue you sell these articles through? I was wondering if we will see them on Drivethru too at some point? I am 100% ok with getting them through Patreon, just thought I would ask.
