    Tip for wandering monsters checks

After running it the original way for years, this is the method I eventualy went with, basically turning "random" encounters into set encounters that I could pre-plan for so I would hopefully be able to incorporate the variety of elements possible to each encounter, and speed up the game.

DMG combat "To Hit" tables Q

Sounds like a good idea, and one I did not know about even after playing AD&D for many years.

I Have Created the Most Detailed Game World!

I would love to see these as well (and steal them, muahahahaha), especially without the dragon in the way - though he is a cool dragon. I think the best in this department I have done is putting together information packetfor the players that is in the 30-page range, though with full color...

    References for "loot" rules?

All versions of Gamma World have random loot tables, with much of it being not very useful, just what we would call junk, but for those living in the aftermath of WWIII they are artifacts & relics. Not sure if any of it is freely availible on the internet, but it might be out there somewhere.

    D6 Star Wars RPG Thoughts

Dude those are awesome! Did you make them? PS: I am talking about the 2 PDFs you link to, The New Player Guide and the Galaxy Guide, I cannot have links yet - even if they are really another posters links in quotes. Silly!

    D6 Star Wars RPG Thoughts

The mechanics were some of the best, I keep meaning to try out the generic D6 rules, but I cannot seem to get a group in this area to play them. (Really, it is hard getting anyone here to play something other than D&D 4E/Encounters, Pathfinder, or another D&D clone, none of which I really want...

    D6 Star Wars RPG Thoughts

Sorry man, it has been so long since I played I couldn't tell you for sure. But, at the time, I don't think we were big into house-rules and we played most games straight - or with very little modification. What I can tell you is that all I have are fond/happy feelings of my days playing Star...

    What's your favourite alignment?

It is nice to see that I am in a majority, for once.

    D6 Star Wars RPG Thoughts

Shucks, one of my favorite RPing experiences was when I was playing a Kid, and an Outlaw character - who did not really get along - in a Star Wars game. It was way back in the mid-to-late '80s, I was in the Marine Corps and stationed in Okinawa. We would play at what we called the "Burger...

    D6 Star Wars RPG Thoughts

D6 Star Wars is also my favorite version of the game - particularly 2E R&E. I did not have the problems with initiative that you did, likely because I haven't played the game in well over a decade, and my evolution as a gamer wasn't where it is now. Would love to have a game of SW now...

I Have Created the Most Detailed Game World!

You ever think about getting it published? There are always markets for more settings out there, I think.

    [Knoxville, TN] Looking to game

I have contacted some others, as well, so hopefully we can get a full group of 4-6 together. And hopefully for a regular game, something I have not been able to do for many, many years now. (Ever since moving to Knoxville about 7-years ago, actually longer.) I have no qualms about GMing (or...

    [Knoxville, TN] Looking to game

I am currently in the market for a gaming group. My gaming history is that I have been playing over 30-years and have played many, many systems and genres. I am off of work every Thurs thru Sat - barring me picking up over-time, of course - so I can do a regular game. Heck, I want to do a...
