    I meant that saying some nasty, mean stuff to an enemy, pissing him off, sounds like exactly what the Intimidate skill is for, which is opposed by Wisdom by default, just like you wanted. Where did you find Perform (taunt)?

    Isn't that just an Intimidate check which is countered by a (1d20+level+Wis+vs fear bonuses)? That's what I thought at least. Or a Bluff check countered by a Sense Motive check depending on the way you go about it. In both cases it's Cha vs Wis, and Con has nothing to do with it.

    Another idea, although less dependable: If they happen to roll a 1 on a saving throw instead of rolling on the table to determine which items get affected automatically decide the problem item be affected. If it is a powerful magic item it may still make its saving throws but otherwise, too bad.
