    My PF Questions

Has anyone tinkered with the damage system in d&d? It's probably the biggest gripe I have with the system, regardless of edition. I know my last few entries make it look like I'm just complaining, but in truth, I really like PF, but I want to sort one thing out before I delve into it for real...

    My PF Questions

Not so much a question, more an observation and a whinge. I was playing 3.5 the other night, I had a ranger, 5th level. Best he could do was 2 attacks a round with his bow, doing 1d8 damage on both attacks. Pretty lame I thought. Especially as the cleric, two fighters, and even the thief were...

    My PF Questions

A friend of mine who knows his 3.5 inside out, told me that Fighters are weak compared to the other classes. They get screwed when it comes to feats and all that. Has PF rectified this at all? Also, what is a Gish Prestige Class and why does trying to multiclass without these still suck? If...

    My PF Questions

I thought I'd lump all my PF questions here instead of barraging the forum. page 170:Tremendous Strength: For Strength scores not shown on Table 7–4, find the Strength score between 20 and 29 that has the same number in the “ones” digit as the creature’s Strength score does and multiply the...

I like the idea of using 3.5 for a Midkemia setting I'm building. Going through the books one by one taking notes. I was thinking of using 3.5 but I heard PF is a better modelling of the rules. 3.6 perhaps. How tied to the setting are the rules? And more importantly, is there a file containing...

I heard there was a new core/main campaign setting book coming out for Golarion. Will this been 100% compatible with the Kingmaker series, and indeed all current module/adventures, or are there going to be some issues?

I heard there was a module/adventure wherein pcs can build a castle, or a city or both or somehting. I think this would be awesome for our group. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

What d20 products do you think are truly the best?

    Is Wheel of Time 3.5?

What d20 products do you think are truly the best?

Is Wheel of Time 3.5, and didn't it have an insane amount of errata? If yes to the first and no to the second, I have just found my default setting to GM :)

Yes, I recall the spcaceship thing. It can easily be ignored I'm assuming. Unless of course a whole continent has sprung up around and because of it. But if it's just a spaceship in an adventure/module, that's no issue. Is it a small isolated entity or does it's presence have repercussions...

More good news :) EDIT: Pathfinder doesn't utilise one of those living campaign concepts does it, wherein the entire setting moves forward so to speak, so that you have to purchase new material every two or three years?

If there's a new Golarion setting book coming out I'll sit tight and buy that when it arrives. The PFRPG is a pretty penny and if I'm to invest my cash I'd at least like to have an up to date setting book Thanks for the info

Yes, I'm very excited in taking the plunge. One of the things a roleplaying game has to have for me is a good stock or ready to run adventures, and I think PF fits that bill perfectly.

Hello :) My first post. I'm 43 this year, and cut my teeth on the usual suspects; basic, ad&d, and never went near WotC. Never even formed my own ideas about 3.x, I lived off what others said about the game, and they were sort of biased. A few weeks ago, one of our group decided to use 3.5...
