    Wrath of Ashardalon Review

Nice review. Who is Ashardalon? I assume he is the dragon, but why does he want revenge? Is this game tied to the Nentir Vale or any of the other settings? -Havard

Picture of the Week: The original hot elf chick (?) and freinds

I'm in love! I can't say enough great things about Aleena, but given the actual topic of the thread, I will have to admit that she is no elf. :) -Havard

I figured the tag is for all TSR era D&D that did not carry 'Advanced' as part of the title? -Havard

"Edited" by Moldvay. "Edited" by Cook. But who WROTE it?

I think Tim Kask suggested that they were so into the war gamer mentality when writing the rules that they didnt consider that many of the things wouldnt make any sense to anyone coming from a non-war gamer background. -Havard

"Edited" by Moldvay. "Edited" by Cook. But who WROTE it?

I seem to recall Frank Mentzer suggesting that TSR insisted on using the title editor from Molvay and on because they were worried about any future royalties claims after Arneson. -Havard

    God, I *LOVE* BECMI!

I love BECMI, but for a different reason that the OP. I'm not using BECMI for nostalgia type games. Instead I like BECMI because it is one of very few games which can handle such a wide range of gaming experiences within a single campaign in terms of advancement, wilderness exploration, Kingdom...

    Mystara Collector's Guide

You list Pandius.com as the official fan website. Might it also make sense to include the Mystara Forum at the Piazza, as that is sanctioned by Pandius? -Havard

    Mystara Collector's Guide

The fact that it was derived from 2e rather than BECMI makes it more removed from Mystara IMO. The setting is calle the Vale. I tried to connect it to Thunder Rift at one point, but I am not sure if that was a good idea or not... -Havard

    B2: Keep on the Borderlands

True, although the same module has several NPCs who are clearly Mystaran, one from Glantri. -Havard

    B2: Keep on the Borderlands

*lol* In one way it makes sense to have it in Greyhawk since it was written by Gary. However, Mystara is the only setting that has an official placement for the Keep. Another thing that makes me thing it fits for Mystara is that Mystara is a setting that almost every TSR employee worked on at...
