Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen & Warriors of Krynn Review

IMHO i think the boardgame looks uninspiring, laying that out on the table doesn't exactly look "Wow, Dragonlance". I understand it may be more of a utility tie into the campaign, but aesthetically it doesn't look all that great.

D&D 5E (2024) One D&D Permanently Removes The Term 'Race'

I agreed with "Ancestry". I understand PF uses it, but it makes the most sense to me.

D&D 5E (2014) Rebalanced Tyranny of Dragons Coming In January

Any thoughts if WOTC would have the kobold team (Wolfgang at etal) work on this version or if its all in house "tweeking" ? I would assume Rich Baker wont be back to work on the Phandelver Campaign that's due out next year. :( Unless he's working on it contract wise.

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Legendary, Goodman, and More

I didnt see this in the news, but Mongoose has relased their official "State of the Mongoose" article: "Mongoose Publishing is just finishing its 21st year in business, and we are still here! 2022 was a very interesting year for us and there is lots to talk about. This is a long one, so grab...

Dragonlance Unlocked on D&D Beyond: Dragonlance Shadow of the Dragon Queen!

I read the book is misprinted. So, that's going to be awesome for those players bringing their books to the table (w/ characters) and having a long discussion with the DM on "errata" (Or the other way around). :/ of course, if everyone is on D&D beyond, is not an issue. I assume that's a selling...

Stormlight RPG Coming from Brandon Sanderson's Novels

seeing this miniature series based on a book series raise >2M$ with 12K+ backers, I wonder how much money could possibly be generated for Avatar: Legends Miniatures supporting the RPG. Would miniatures typically be a separate license for a product IP like that?

WotC Wizards of the Coast Is Moving -- But Not Far!

"WFH" has impacted most business leases, and strategies. Office support overhead of lease fees, parking, furniture, supplies (coffee, plates, paper, etc...), utility bills, janitorial, etc... has changed how business think about leasing space. Microsoft is close to being 75% back to work, and...

What is going on with Riot Minds?

They still have a Ruin Masters Bestiary KS to deliver on. I will say being a backer on a couple of their projects, there was no enjoyment in any part of the process, that includes trying to actually use what they created.

Planescape 5 New D&D Books Coming in 2023 -- Including Planescape!

maybe its my western world OCD, but is there a reason why Winter 2023 is to the left of Spring and summer 2023 with fall releases at the bottom? My brain wants to rearrange them in chronological order (left to right)....I first thought maybe it was a mistake and should have been Winter 2022.

D&D Movie/TV An Analysis of the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Trailer

Im thinking the obese dragon is Themberchaud from Out of the Abyss, which means Gracklstugh, as indicated by all the dwarf statues. Watching the battle scene with the black dragon showing up, the first shot you can clearly see dragon cultist' ahead of the dragon based on their costumes. Would...
