Terry brooks isn't terrible,he just has this obsession with taking 5 pages to to describe a tree. Hickman & Weis stuff is pretty good also.

Yea 2E stuff is legendary. Kinda why I like 5E so much reminds me of it all the time.

Well I meant canon for Forgotten Realms ( more or less sword coast) but that's mostly where 5E stuff is taking place.

I like the gnome fits in well with the group. He shall be an interesting case to study,maybe we can compare notes on the different kinds of magic:)

I like the gnome wizard a little bit more than the paladin. I think he would fit more into the story,but that is merely my opinion lol nothing more. Both characters are good in their own rite.
