WotC Mike Mearls: "D&D Is Uncool Again"

That last word in the text you quoted is very significant even without the context he was talking about a game he played with people that enjoyed the game at the con. Cherry picking is not a sound base for proving up an argument.

Wizards of the Coast Is Sunsetting Sigil's Active Development

It is likely against the TOS, I haven't downloaded it(it won't run on any of my machines) but every wotc TOS I have read leads me to this conclusion.

I thought you were because you quoted my post, how does your comment tie into my post? I am not following how the fallacy is relevant.

D&D General Have you ever used Acquisitions Incorporated?

I own it, but haven't used or read it yet. Found it on sale at a price I couldn't pass up.

They don't hangout on the DDB forums either.

I'd love some clarification on this statement and would be OK if it was via PM if you feel it might violate any rules if posted publicly.

Pizza and D&D are a lot alike. Not everyone that likes pizza likes the same pizza, and very few things(toppings and rules) can't be picked off to get that slice / game you want!

A good VTT, also makes a good DTT. When I had a DDB sub we used maps as a DTT at all but one game i was playing at the time. It was implemented several ways depending on the DM, and equipment available where we were playing.

I'll just leave it, retcons just make things worse.

Sorry I meant to quote a different post of yours. Would you like me to fix that or just leave things as they are?

That is paraphrased editorial, very different from a quote as you claimed you were doing in multiple posts.

WotC Mike Mearls: "D&D Is Uncool Again"

This is not a quote, it is a paraphrased editorial of parts of what he wrote. Where did I say you didn't understand what he said? I simply pointed out an alternate take on what you gleaned from his posts. I don't know how either of us could be right or wrong about this without Mearls telling us.

Where did I use the "appeal to athority" fallacy?

It is more than repeating the words, it is you adding your interpretation and bias to them and representing them so they support your argument. Which you are well within your rights to do, I am just pointing out there are other ways to interpret the post.

Is it anymore insulting than a fan of a different sports tem than you saying the team you like sucks? It is an opinion and people are both allowed to have and express them. You are the onlyone in control of your interpretation and reaction.

Project Sigil 90% Of D&D’s Project Sigil Team Laid Off

The way they new things have been implemented on DDB have added more issues for new players in games that don't use the 24 rules. It gets worse in those games the more 24 content is owned by player in the group, but just the free rules gum up the works.

This is editoralizing. You are nolonger simply a messenger when you edititorialize the content. This is gaslighting.

Editorializing is not the same as a messenger reposting content.
