ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

I'm curious what both the out-of-character and in-character reactions to the whole "let's take forcible possession of a person's entire being" plan were.

Well, I personally think his best moment is all the preemptive shut-downs of Pemberton in Adventure 10.

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

Assuming both Uru and the country of Ber survive the campaign, I totally want to see Uru become the next Extraño.

Since you've got a substantial time skip, maybe she fled to Elfaivar and wound up joining Tony the Were-Tiger and his pals? (Mostly trying to think of a way to bring her back in without adding too much in the way of extraneous side plots.) Sent from my SM-G900V using EN World mobile app

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

It seems we're saying the same thing. :-) Dead Tinker is the second best outcome: perfect (albeit somewhat unrealistic) success for Lya is taking Tinker alive so he can be either persuaded, coerced, brainwashed, magically compelled, etc. into rejoining the Ob or just pumped for info about how...

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

Well, I guess that particular hat-tip goes to RangerWickett, then! It's a great trait, makes him stand out against so much of the cast who have various reasons for being more polished: politicians, nobles, what are functionally FBI/Interpol agents, over-educated doctors and their kids, etc...

I dunno why, but it's pretty cool that you managed to give Rush a distinct voice by having him be super casual about swearing. Sent from my SM-G900V using EN World mobile app

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

I'm picturing this as one of those oft-parodied beats in the corniest of sitcoms.

Somehow, it only occurred to me upon reading this update that Tinker would fit right in at the Mad Hatter and the March Hare's unbirthday party.

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

Various spitball ideas on messing with teleportation: They simply replicate Duchess Ethelyn's trick, causing Aodhan to get left behind if Harkover tries to teleport him out of dodge. They lock Aodhan into the Bleak Gate. As a result, if he manages to flee, he's still trapped in the Bleak...

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

By the way, a re-read reveals my fansplaining is so bad, not only was I presuming to answer for someone who knows the subject better than me, bit I was answering a question that wasn't even asked. I hope I don't get Athlete's Tongue.... Anyway, Cavallo is mentioned as the successor to...

If I had to guess (and I don't have to because RangerWickett follows this thread, but it's fun to share idle speculation), I'd say it's because there are very good odds that, by the time of the assassination attempt, the player's haven't have figured out Harkover's Big Secret. And there's not...

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

That, or you can figure out what the stats are on a Dracolich in Cypher. Which, come to think of it, could add all kinds of weird poignancy to all of the Adventure 13 fight scene. You know your players better than we do, but I dunno if I'd be entirely comfortable giving rewards to...

D&D Beyond Beta: Your First Thoughts Thread!

I'm gonna withhold final judgement until I see how much the final product can be modded, and what sort of tools it comes for integrating homebrew, DM's Guild, and other non-WOTC content. I can see where someone who's brand-spaking-new to D&D (or even Tabletop RPGs as a whole) could be...

D&D Beyond Beta: Your First Thoughts Thread!

Eh, until Phase II of the Beta goes live, it's not ulike a lot of other hyperlinked SRD's out there. The monster/NPC index works better than most I've seen, but the rest, thus far, is very much "meh." Rendering a judgement on the product as a whole at this point feels like buying or rejecting...

    ZEITGEIST ZEITGEIST 5E

I had been surprised that you didn't do something similar in the Pathfinder version using the Mythic rules. Then I looked up the release dates and realized that Last Starry Sky was probably in the "finalizing the layout" stage when those rules came out. :p (To the best of my research, Mythic...
