For me D&D has generally been about the rules. Maybe that had to do with my start in 2e, but I always thought D&D as it's own (vanilla D&D)campaign setting was weak and it's strength was in depicting a variety of fantasies.

Yes. I believe they should include a 5e Warden. Then again I believe they should include as many classes/subclasses as humanly possible for the sake of providing players with more options to realize their character concept through mechanics. Reflavoring shouldn't be a replacement for classes.

I would probably play 5e if 4e wasn't available although I could see myself also playing a Player's Options 2e game, but that might be nostalgia talking. If we weren't restricted to official D&D editions then I would put 13th Age right above 5e.

If Pathfinder has a Warlord class and 3.X had a Warlord(i.e. Marshall) class and 13th Age has a Warlord class and 4e has a Warlord class, then why is it suddenly not a present enough archetype in fantasy to warrant it's own class when it comes to 5e?
