Most of the game is casters we have less then 1/3 the classes that don’t have magic and those classes have subclasses to add magic

Not everyone just casters. The poor fighter doesn’t get to nova

Never have I ever seen a fighter with three attacks plus action surge take longer then a caster useing a 5th level spell.

It depends day by day. But I would have to think real hard to find a game I played or ran where the number was 0 more then once or twice. I would say we average 2. We got in the play test night both times long and 2 short (but only 1 on each of the days) and we ended about to travel for days...

For this attempt yes that is about right. Neither of us took Sheild. The blade lock kicked himself for that. Several times it would have saved him.

The DM gets to pick what is and isn’t allowed. Normally I would say we are more accommodating but for the playtest I get why he doesn’t want to mix and match unless we have too. I will respectfully disagree
