This is my first response in this thread but I have said it in similar ones. I agree with @GMforPowergamers and @Micah Sweet about this being a new edition with a spin to change it but will cause the same split most editions do. I already see edition wars now and it is just the playtest.

I would ask the party to form around one power level and rest schedule. So wizards that nova 2 3rd level and a 4th level slot compairtd to the warlock only have 2 4th level slots the whole “day” would be an issue
