You're worried about between game sessions? I figured this was to speed things up at the table. If it is math to be done in the week or two or more between sessions then even if we doing calculus you should have plenty of time.

I'm not sure people consider using fractions simple. It actually looks like more work then the current system. I plan on using the base system when we try 5e but I will probably go back to the system we use for Pathfinder that everyone gains a level when it is appropriate for the campaign.

For a suggestion on what to play Star Wars with I would suggest mini 6. It is a free game so big plus there. It plays like the old d6 Star Wars but the dice don't get as out of hand as they could in that game. It is nicely simplified and very flexible of a system.

I want to see more setting less rules. Pathfinder gets to bogged down in all these new feats and spells spread over dozens of books. I don't even buy the rule oriented books any more and in fact got rid of a few of them. I think the next Adventure PAth we do is going to be with a simpler game...
