My experience with Basic D&D was pretty limited. Old red book, black boxed set, Rules Cyclopedia. My group eschewed it very quickly for AD&D once we could discern the difference between them. I'm a pretty huge Mystara fan, though and I've always been curious what Basic D&D ended up looking...

I imagine Tieflings as having distant infernal ancestry that manifests in very minor physical traits. Outliers exist that have prominent horns, sharp teeth etc. but they are rare. No eyebrow horns.

I was curious because I had never heard of Tieflings referencing their heritage as a curse. They could, of course.

I'm not interested in power levels. I am arguing that Half Eladrin individuals could exist.

To each their own, but I've never understood this mentality. Look at all the diversity and possibility in our world. Imagine how much more there would be in a magical one.

If Tieflings get a pantheon, I demand pantheons for Half-Orcs and Half-Elves. Gnomelings as well.
