There are a lot of oofs here to unpack, but I think a big one (ontop of all the big ones) is kickstarting a new edition a decade after the previous kickstarted edition remains unfulfilled.

We know they have a Daggerheart mini-series coming. Matt leaked it early. We just don't know when. I assume they are going to try and time it around the release next month. I do wish there was MORE though. Get the DND youtubers advance copies so they can make preview videos like DND 2024 did.

Honestly, DC20 seemed fine to me. It's just my desire to leave the d20 system behind that made me skip out on it. Daggerheart seems much more interesting of the two, imo.

I know its legally DW 2 because they bought the rights, but this just reads like Chasing Adventure 2. A game I thought already got rid of the good things I liked in DW.

"Spoiler" is usually something that would ruin the experience. Hearing the ending of a book or movie for example. I can't think of anything in this book that would ruin the experience if I heard about it early. But that's just me. They're in their right to ask people not to share the content...

I understand the annoyance of potentially having your entire game leaked online a month early, but I have to say that the concept of game rules being a "spoiler" is a little funny to me. Especially with the open beta.

Finished Final Fantasy VII Remake, now trying out Monster Hunter Stories. I also have bought a lot of the Final Fantasy mainline games on sale, and haven't played them before, so this year is gonna be full of JRPGs for me.

I enjoy picking up starter sets in general so I will probably pick this up at some point. It looks cool.
